Loved the video, thanks. My issue with mine is that I Have yellow and brown on the edges (not just tips) and the areas like spots of yellow and brown on a lot of the leaves including baby leaves. What should I do?
I came here to learn about my corn plant but half way forgot why i was here and just enjoyed watching you two and got very thirsty when seeing my favorite drink lol 🍻
You two are very entertaining to watch. I just bought a corn plant from home depot yesterday. Glad I stumbled across your video. I also subbed for more content.
Hello, My corn plant was looking beautiful seemed healthy, but was growing sideways in the pot. It eventually fell over so I figured it was time for a new pot. It is a 5” tree and I was surprised at how little root system there was, but I repotted in a pot about 2” wider and deeper. The new potting soil was very wet, but I went with it. That was about 4 mo. ago. I was waiting for the dirt to dry out more. The dirt feels dry about 6” down and cool lower. The leaves are starting to look ruffly on the edges and some are yellowing a little. The stalk looks good and I was wondering if I should water and it has not been fertilized for about a year. I’d love to save this plant if possible, I hope you can advise. Thank you for reading!
HELP!! My corn plant is in a plastic pot and I feel like it never gets enough water!! I watered it 2 days ago and the top 2inches of the soil are already dry. It’s a very loose type of soil, the one it came with form the store. Is it ok to water it more often since it likes to be moist? My moisture probe says it’s pretty wet on the bottom half of the pot.
Can I just replant my corn plant in a planter without holes as long as I am not overwatering? Or do I need to get a tray to put underneath the planter and drill holes through it so the water drains out?
I would recommend holes if possible! The reason being is that it’s not just about over or under watering- you want to be able to flush the soil of salts and buildup over time, which you can’t do it there’s no drainage!
I bought 3... 2day for our bird aviary outdoors...There is a spot or 2 for indirect sunlight. It is bird safe. We are in zone 8b...can I plant directly in ground or should I leave in pots to move to greenhouse in winter to protect from frost?
Hi 👋 thanks for the info , I have a question 🙋🏼♀️. My plant has 4 stumps but two are healthy and two are dead with more dead looking stumps coming out of them . Should I cut off the dead stumps ?
Mine started doing bad out of nowhere. I had it in a spot it was doing great. I barely watered or anything. I have had it for 1yr. Then all of a sudden im losing a stalk. Could it be neglect or season change? Can I bring it back ..i have lost 2 stems and my stalk feels like its losing it's stability. Another youtube video said it could be that when i repotted it 8 months ago I broke the roots and it did ok because of remaining water in the stalk. The other culprit being root rot but I barely water it. I need help so bad if anyone knows or knows a vid that can help. I love this plant and it has done so amazing.
The lady wirh the dark is very distracting and acts like the video is about her. For Gods sake lady with dark hair, focus on sharing tips on the plants. Oh, the blond hair lady is confidend and talks like she wants to help the viewers care for their plants.
