I think his 10th Anniversary FC would pull a lot more than what yall gave him. There were only 1500 made, and very few still on the road. That thing is CLEAN and stock clean ones will go for anywhere between $20k and $45k depending on mileage. The 45k one was on ebay, id imagine his would go for far more.

Rob is such an amazing guy. I met him when he was still in high-school . He helped me build my first computer. Him and his family are genuinely very nice people!

I think you undervalued his 1988 FC. My white 1988 FC GXL I have is worth about 7k (probably more since FCs are expensive here in Illinois and I bought it in South Carolina), and his is a much rarer, much more desirable 10th Anniversary Edition. Not only that, but of course one making 700 horsepower. I'd say that's a $30-35k car, since a regular bone stock 10AE sold on Bring A Trailer in 2022 for $25k

Fun fact. I just acquired the original damage parts that were on the Diablo 6.0.

Good news is, all that work is giving a far larger return in the 'Rob Dahm' long run. Congrats to ya Rob! Go get it!

Rob has an engine for the F1 car. It’s obviously not assembled, but he’s got the parts. Pretty sure he was going to have it rebuilt at some point.

The c5 made his channel from my perspective. He was battling some serious uphill obstacles and no funds. Got the 4 rotor moving forward. I have an Ls, but love rotaries.

Manual insight is brutal sometimes. A friend of mine was trying to go up the hill at Road Atlanta and a car stopped in front of him. He had to back down the hill, get some momentum, and go back up with a running start 😂

2 things to say. The 4 rotor, to replicate that car is easily 400k and I wouldn’t be surprised if it was far more. So 250k sounds reasonable for an auction price. And the Indy car DOES have the V10 in it

The sheer amount of time spent engineering every aspect of the car from the tire size and suspension design, the wiring harness and electronic systems, and of course engine and drivetrain, would make this thing worth a quarter million in just that labor time. That doesn't touch the actual fabrication time and assembly time. In a strictly numerical value from implied time invested in R&D and development, the 4 rotor is easily a million dollar car. In actual practical value, I'd say 250k-300k for a purpose built monster is fair, especially with Robs name attached to it

Never mind the one-off billet 12 rotor just sitting in the shop too. That's not actually his, though. And, not really a "car" either.

Robs four rotor and three rotor make me sad because I'm dumb, I was doing some training at a loves right off I10 north of El Paso around a year ago. I walked out for the day and see the Dodge with an open trailer with both cars on it, I think to myself those are some cool cars take some pictures go home watch a video of his and then realize it was all his and he was on his way back home after a race. I still regret to this day not realizing them and walking back into the store and talking to him.

I’ll be absolutely honest. People sleep so much on trucks you don’t regularly use them or drive them. If his truck is in good condition, it wouldn’t be hard for him to get between 40 and 50,000 depending on mileage.

so they are way underbidding under these cars as he has an actual cosworth indy motor and the 4 rotor is well over a million r&d alone not including the fact that his 3rotor is a pikes peak hill climb car so I can say easy 500k having seen several of them built on short timelines.

Usually I somewhat agree with your appraisals, but this one is way, way, wayyy off. Especially since you have to attach the history and current fame of these cars. You can’t appraise them without it. The C5 could be replicated, sure. The 10ae FC? Little bit harder, especially to find a 10ae shell that clean. The 3 rotor? Could be replicated for obscene amounts of money. To most people who’d legitimately try to buy Ahura(4 rotor) from Rob, the sky would be the limit. Literally. There was a rumor awhile ago that signal auto offered 500k for it and got turned down; but we’ve got no way to confirm or deny that. Rob’s cost of his own labor could easily be 250k on its own. Completely custom carbon fiber body, tube chassis(lengthened at that), AWD, billet 4 rotor that is already tens upon tens of thousands of dollars, over 1400awhp, sequential 4wd box, the list goes on. That isn’t just a built fd. That’s THE built fd. It’s the final boss. There’s no world in which that car is even considered under a 7 figure price tag. My appraisals, from a current owner of 25+ rotary vehicles are as follows C5 - 40-45k 10AE FC - 60-75k. Clean stock ones pull 25k even with some miles on them. This is far from stock and one of the cleanest you’re gonna find 20B FD - 150k-175k. May seem insane, but realistically, this is not a car you can easily replicate. Not even close. To make power in a rotary is not cheap. To even get a 20b nowadays is not cheap. To make 4 digit power numbers with a 20b like this car? Astronomical amounts of money for an average person. Not even talking about it being a track proven car that’s ready to take on pikes peak. 4 Rotor - 1 Million +. May seem insane, but I explained above. This car isn’t purchasable. You can’t build this. I couldn’t see any offer below 7 figures even making Rob blink. Rob’s attachment to these obviously plays a factor as they should

These guys really didn’t do much research considering the whole point of the video is to appraise the collection. -The 13B Z06 would easily go for 50k. One of one, and still retains the factory transmission and rear end, although the diff has been re-geared to my knowledge. -The C8 is pretty accurate, but this car will be getting a 6 Rotor Turbo swap eventually. Another one off build that would fetch a pretty penny. -Again, pretty accurate on the Challenger. But it’s a Drag Car he built for his girlfriend, would have to go to the right crowd. -The Ram would maybe, MAYBE score him around 15k. It’s an older generation and is literally just a work horse. -The Diablo, accurate considering the CarFax and history. Can’t argue with Ed on that one. -The Conti is getting a Billet 12 Rotor, and I’m sure it would get a decent restoration before said project begins, and will be absolutely insane. Easily a half a million dollar car once finished. -The FC, is absolutely redone from the ground up, would fetch 50-60k easily. Bilstein Suspension, fully rebuilt and custom engine, basically brand new factory interior, much more that I can’t list. The 20B RX-7 would fetch close to 200k in its current state, it’s being built to spec as a record beating Pikes Peak car at the time of this videos release. The entire suspension has been re-engineered and the engine has been moved to a Front-Mid setup. -The 4-Rotor is way, way, way off. (They also used a picture of the 3-Rotor when introducing the car) Between the history with Rob and Ken, and engineering alone in that car, it wouldn’t sell for less than 1M. -Formula Mazda is around spot on, solid start to open wheel racing without being a massive hit to the wallet. -Indy Car did come with an engine and gearbox. Ficarra is smoking some good drugs as always. It’s literally part of how the thing is held together, wouldn’t even be considered as a “car” without it. He’s been using the engine to improve his technical and engineering know-how. Which is why it’s out of the car currently. Also isn’t that “worn out” considering the factors at hand. Although it’s an older one, would still fetch near 100k as it sits. My total appraisal value, as someone who ACTUALLY watches his content and appreciates his ability to engineer and manufacture in his OWN shop. *That collection is easily worth 2.5-2.6M.* That’s without factoring in any labor cost, which ain’t cheap either.
