Great build and a plus one Pinarello for sticking to a threaded BB. Despite some of the comments here as a builder myself it keeps things so much easier especially when it comes to maintenance. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it.

If we’re waiting 18-24 months for delivery, expect a glut of high end spec bikes to be ordered globally over the next 12 months.

IF you want to build the lightest Dogma F you should go for the rim brake option

Darimo seatpost and Nexum handle bar can bring the weight down considerably.

Sram Red AXS is absolutely the most hideous looking group in existence. Man it’s aweful to see on a such a gorgeous frameset. Also, that is not a very light build. If you are truly going for a light build, Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed is the lightest of the big three by a fairly large margin. Also, Zipp still makes their NSW disc rims in tubular, which are much lighter than clincher..and I know those weren’t tubulars.

no way if you're spending this much on a bike you're not buying high end bottle cages, well under 50g to be added

Nice frame. The massive stack under the stem looks hideous. Would have been lighter with Lightweight Meilenstein Obermeyer's instead of the Zipps.

I can't believe that it has a screw in bottom bracket, very poor engineering that they can not make a round hole constantly so they try to convince people that a screw bottom bracket is better
@js_cycles
@js_cycles 2 года назад
We're fans of threaded bottom brackets here, a lot of brands are moving back to them now due to the easier servicing!
@barefootdogwalker1402
@barefootdogwalker1402 2 года назад
@@js_cycles The manufacturer cannot make a round hole consistantly so they are trying to convice the public that a threaded bottom bractket is better, which it is not as they have to make the frame narower so not as stiff. A threaded bottom bracket has the bearings press fitted. Every other indestry uses a press fit bottom bracket from motorcycles to airplanes. All these bike manufacters want to charge vast sums of money for poor engineering they need to sought out their QC and stop ripping off the public

Imagine doing what everyone is doing again ,If you build bikes this is by far the best option.
@barefootdogwalker1402
@barefootdogwalker1402 2 года назад
@@JaiJai71104 it's a inferior way to a press fit bottom bracket. The frame has to be not as wide with a scree in BB and with a screw in BB it is still a press fit into the metal shell of the scree in BB. It's all because the frame manufacturing is very poor so they convince the buying public it's better, they are just conning you. All they have to do is have extra material around the BB then machine the excess to create a round hole.
