My first Pinarello was the 2010 Paris and I currently have Dogma 8 with Sram e tap. Some people complain about the price but it is not Chinese and it will last you more than ten years if you look after it. Finally to those who complain about the comparison test, this is not scientific but serious enough for me to respect Sigma sports and their inhouse test rider. Thank you so much Sigma this was a well edited ,fun viewing .

Wheels, tires, and power output were not made the same between both test rides. Can’t compare the two in that circumstance and give a verdict that one is faster. They are however, gorgeous bikes!!

Bloody heck. HOW could it be possible to have won the Tour De France on the F8 when the new,latest,all bells version is SO MUCH faster. Better not get the new F because in a years time there will be ANOTHER F something that will kick the F something into touch by going even faster. Amazing though that in spite of the fact that EVERY YEAR for decades bike tech has leaped forward,coming up with the best and fastest....fact is that Eddy Merckx and his buddy’s were riding almost as fast 50 years ago on steel frames and bikes with friction gear shifts and weighing 10 kg 🤔 p.s. I ride an F8-Campag Super Record. So love modern bikes,just hate bullshit!

Even if I suppose that the Dogma F is a good evolution of the Dogma F12 in my opinion, this comparison has no value ... Just the set of wheels / tires necessarily has a noticeable impact because everything is different on this point and everything is favorable for the Dogma F to go faster and also be easier with a lacing of the spokes in order to improve the nervousness of the wheels ... Please perform this test again with the same wheels and tires to make it credible.

Group set will make a significant difference in my opinion, the SRAM Red set up gives a lot more flexibility x12 v Dura Ace. I have two bikes one SRAM and one Dura Ace.

I really wish it had better warranty , costing this much money should come with lifetime warranty like most other brands.

@@Timtimzi i guess peace of mind , if you pay 7k for a frame alone , let’s be honest, all bike are made at the same factories and under the sale conditions, if Giant Cannondale, Trek and specialized can offer a better warranty why not pinarello ???

those two seat - post grub screws at the rear are a pain. I use to put electrical tape over the two holes to protect them.

Like mot comments on this test, I CANNOT AGREE WITH ITS VALIDITY. there are several obvious reasons, but the biggest one to me is his legs are more fresh riding the F first. His legs will be tired after riding the F first.

I don’t get how you can claim to do a true bike speed comparison without taking average and max power into comparison. Marketing claims 45secs faster over 50kmph speeds but not over how long. Again, snake oil!

I M NOT SURE I CAN AGREE WITH THIS TEST, I have 2011 pinarello dogma and I have to say the 2011 pinarello dogma 2 feel more racy than my pinarello f12. So I am not sure I buy into new bikes give the best ride. For clarity, I have been riding competitive and fun for 16+ years and I would love to hear from pro cyclist wht they think!

I brought the f frame from China gougous bike only 1300 dollars running shamaro ultega cosmic wheels love it all up cost 3.800 dollars

This bike was really easy to assemble ru-vid.comUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Very disappointing comparison. Just the frameset should vary and not the whole bike! Plus, the guy owns a F12 rim, so the DogmaF was his first ride on discs… should have chosen a rider that owns a F12 disc…

I cannot afford either. I would not pay 12k for a road bike. I use my local bike builder Thorn Cycles based in Somerset. Obtained a custom factory made bike which I spect out, measured me, even let me send in my own tyers! I spent 4k, but it was a decent price for what I ended up with. The customer service was amazing. I do not buy from greedy bastards like Pinarello. There out to grab as much cash from you, that's why they are so over priced!
