I hope you enjoyed and sorry for geeking out over sexy bikes.... I love seeing these things in person.... also I did a break down of some of the new shimano in here as well for each part
Can you do some videos based on what you’ve come across during your time in the cycling industry? Do a story time on maybe some theft in your store, horrible customers, big spenders, poor products you’ve come across, crashes & racing ETC. I love this channel, I reckon you could excel in so many other topics within the industry. Thanks GC.
Thank you for showing the weight in metric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mentioned it in a really rude way in another one of your videos (apologies), and your reply was so nice. Literally subscribed to your channel because of that. Love your content. The sounds you made in that squeeze test were hilarious 😂
@@GCPerformance18 i agree. Pinarellos are flashy bikes and colors make them pop on any group ride. The Orange F12 is absolutely stunning. I have an F10 on Cideral White and find as sexy as the day I bought it.
Something about how the F12 looks, makes it looks a bit iconic to Pinarello. The F looks more like a flawless concept CAD design before any brand has had a chance to work on it.
Thanks for the nice Video! Can you make a comparision between the Dogma F and the Tarmac SL 7?That World be useful-perhaps although with the Trek Madone SL9?Thanks a lot for your perfekt Vids-greetings Tom
@@GCPerformance18 It was absolutely incredible. Its my goal bike I've set for myself, once I get to the weight I want to be at and stay there for a year.
Excellent video as usual, very informative and watchable to the end👍I’m expecting delivery of my Emonda SLR9 in a couple of days which must be one of the first in the U.K and I’m now really looking forward to it after your reviews on the new Dura Ace. I have a holiday home in beautiful Clearwater….. where about is your store?
Surprised to see people still going with compact 50/34 cranks on ultra high end bikes instead of semi-compaxt 52/36 now that you can get 11-30 and 11-34 cassettes.
@@GCPerformance18 Thx. Just watched another vid where the guy attached sprint shifters to them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ARzsCVObM3I.html
It will be nice from you if you can make some tests by mixing the new R9100 (or R8100) with the old R9000/R8000 transmission. I mean by that, i have an Ultegra R8000 crankset and i would like to know if i can use it with the new R8100 tranmission (chain, derailleur etc...). And to see if the 12 speed chain works on a 11 speed cassette and crankset and vice-versa.
Now that's a beautiful bike! I own a 2021 Prince. The performance is mind blowing. I use Mavic Comete Pro SL 65mm wheels. I think the performance of the Pinarello Prince is better than my Cannondale System Six? That bike is 15,000 Euros here in Europe.
Quick Question, I want to get some Princeton Carbonworks Wheels, but I'm not sure what hub type to go with. Does it really matter that much? What are the advantages, if any if I go with the more expensive option?
I think we've moved beyond dentist bike into radiologist, or crypto magnate bike. She sure is pretty, but I'd be nervous as hell for the paint work every time I hit a rock, rolled over a dead iguana, parked it at the coffee stop or *God forbid* had to ride in the wet.
that is awesome!!! and yea I know I think shimano is stil working on getting those out thats why alot of bikes are not coming stock with a pm, same with the sworks tarmac sl7 with shimano but the sram version does because they have it avaiubloe
I thought Pinarello used Italian threads on their BB's? Pinarello has stated for the first time about bringing improved compliance to this bike. Any feedback as previous Dogma's have measures to be a bit more unforgiving than others? Granted its a pure race bike and an unapologetic one for that, but a little compliance goes a long way on helping prevent tire chatter on broken pavement.
people who are buying this would not buy a honda civic doe...... I dont look at my gym membership monthly and be like damn this could fed a family for a week.... naw what im saying
@@GCPerformance18 I do :) no hate, its just amazing at how much research and development costs they lump consumers with. Marginal gains is expensive I guess.
Dogma F supposed to be half a pound lighter than F12..? My F12 rim brake model in 55 size is the almost same weight as this one. It's probably disc to disc comparison I suppose.
Funny, from the naysayers, you’d think that cycling was a weightlifting championship. Or maybe the reason why they care for weight, is coz they need to blame the bike instead of themselves as they keep losing.
lmao I know, its a literal pound and they act like its the difference of getting dropped or not, this is a full aero bike with massive aero wheels and cages and pedals on there, not bad at all
This is a custom bike that costs a small fortune. And it can't get close to 6.8kg (a psychological milestone). For us normies much much further down the food chain, this is now a 9kg bike. And everyone CAN feel the difference between a 7.5kg and a 9kg bike. So when those of us are used to a sub-8kg (low/mid end) rim bike are looking to upgrade, we want to see more exotic materials, higher groupsets.... not 1kg extra to heft up a hill. Few of us are cycling to be heroic, but a light bike makes us feel that way. So yes, 1kg does matter, especially when it's associated with a higher price tag. Or not?
@@pigeonpoo1823 so basically, you’re just mentally weak? Lol and that 3kg actually makes very little difference. 5kg literally results in only 0.4kmph, and your power meter will likely tell you that the a try al wattage increase in very minimal. So, yea, if you find yourself slower; it’s likely to be just in your head. You are unlikely to be going fast enough for that the matter. Heck, even a change of tyres would make a larger difference than that 5kg lol.
@@87togabito you're absolutely right. In every respect. Can't disagree. But the subjective feel of a lighter bike is what I desire. a 9kg Prince will not feel as much fun as a 6.8kg rim Emonda. They would both cost comparably (ish) in today's money. So all I'm saying is that some people may prefer the feel and fun factor of a lighter slower bike on shallow rims than the outright pace of a heavier bike. Just because you can afford a Tesla Model S doesn't mean you've cheaped-out by buying a Cayman. Have a nice day
Hello, on the Ceramicspeed homepage its written: Please note while there is design similarities this OSPW is not compatible with the 12-speed Shimano 9200 or 8100 series derailleurs. Could you tell me the Partnummer of your OSPW?
That OSPW is not compatible. There will be a specific 9200/8100 launched in November. Small yet required adjustments to the mounting pin and rotation stop tower.
It's a shame that the disc brakes ruined the look and the aerodynamic of this bicycle. 😞. Disc brakes is the biggest marketing scam in the history of bicycles. Very sad.
I like the look of them at first I ddi not but I guess seeing them over and over again I prefer it noww and rim brakes just look boring to me but it is just my preference
