Wow, love the O-ring style gasket on the PRP diff cover, it saves a couple hours having to let gasket maker set which gets annoying changing diff lock settings on a track car
I like that diff cover! the ramps to maintain proper fluid flow are smart. i wonder if there would be any benefit in mounting the ramps at the base too and use flush set fasteners instead of having them protrude. and def baffling the breather is a smart move
This is exactly where I’m at on m 33GT-R build. Finishing up paint and trying to flip the switch on and start bolting stuff back on the car! Super exciting!
i just have to say, i havent been tuned into project no secrets since like ep 7. and let me tell you what. you look great! im sure youre feeling much better! glad to see the improvements!
I started watching the no secrets videos the week they started, which was the week I started a new job. I was down on cars with no money to do anything. 3 years later your cars coming together and I'm doing a full dream build on a sw20 (lots of parts from sparesbox!) Thanks for the motivation and keep it up!
This car is going to be way better than anything Smokey Nagata ever built, I've noticed a lot of Japanese's tuners are still stuck in the 90s, they still use piggybacks over there with pretty small twin turbo setups. In Australia pretty much everyone goes to standalones with single Turbo's now. In Japan they don't seem to push huge horsepower numbers, doubt any RB's in Japan are knocking on the door of 2000 hp.
Check out some of Japan's time attack GT-R builds. High horsepower drag car builds aren't popular anymore, but can't forget hks running mid 7s in their R33 all the way back in 2001.
@@Chris-od1jp it's not that they can't make power, they just go about it in a very old school way. I just watched a video on the Built by Legends R33 Mines GTR and they're still doing chip burning to tune the cars, that's so freaking old school, people here just throw the stock ECU's away because their computers from the 80s.

Funny he mentions him even though he openly trash talks the builds in Australia. Must think his 12 mins with a GTR is worth more than decades of RnD down under

With the price of gtrs through the roof do you plan on putting it back on the road and still have the option for turn and burn on the track or has it been written off and that door has closed for that option
