He is rarely ever happy, and when he is it's usually because of someone else suffering (Rowely breaking his arm, etc.) and he manipulates everyone around him to benefit himself. Never forget: Of all the books to make a movie off of, THIS book series got not one, not two, but *THREE* movies.

When I was about nine having a Diary of a Wimpy Kid phase I made what was basically a fanfiction finale. All the characters got into a war somehow, using weapons powered by the cheese touch. Despite the fact that I was drawing it on scrap paper, I took it completely seriously, ending it with Rowley fucking dying. Needless to say, I was a weird kid. Thankfully, I didn't have access to the internet at the time, and the only copy of my abomination was presumably thrown away a long time ago and will never see the light of day.

1st half, hitting on Rodrick. 2nd half, hitting on Greg’s mom.

Honestly one of the most underappreciated trilogies out there. The first three films were funny and charming romps that embodies crazy life as a pre-teen kid. These movies may not be for everyone but they were truly excellent films in my eyes.
