Hi, so glad you are enjoying our vlogs and the new van is fantastic. The van came with a 100w solar panel on the roof. We have the standard swift fitted leisure battery not sure what it is. We are considering a lithium battery but waiting to see how the van performs with standard fitments before changing.
Wow, I didn’t expect you to have snow that far south in France! Very sensible waiting for it to thaw before venturing out. Isn’t it funny how some places in France are like ghost towns. Keep your adventures coming! 😊

Hari Om As I sit in The Grey at New Lanark Top Park in yet another blatter of rain, I think to myself, I quite like 'fallow' days, to catch up on vlogs and blogs and maybe a bit of crochet too! In fact, I am enjoying the tranquillity so much, I think I'll hang around for a few nights. Not many places I want to (or can) do that! I also love the 'stick a pin in the map' approach... YAM xx

Well that was a bit of a surprise. Wasn't expecting snow to feature in one of your videos. Definitely a good idea to head south to warmer climes. We are finally having some sunnier days inbetween the days of deluge so hope you come across lots of warmth and sunshine. Oh! Crusty French baguettes 😋

We are a retired couple from Melbourne Australia. We do similar things in our 6.23M Renault Master Matrix Built Motorhome. Love a wine with bread and some vegan cheese (we are not animal/meat eaters). Love your Motorhome by the way.
I did laugh at the start of the video, poor Tricia still in bed and Mike gets out and leaves the door wide open. 😂😂 That snow was to remind you of home. 😂 Those home made little pizzas and wine looked good. Take care 👍 🐸

Enjoying your trip. If you are going to use the péages, it's a good idea to subscribe to a badge system. No stopping for a ticket or paying at the booth. Much easier for a UK vehicle. You only pay for it in the month you use it and it's only a couple of €s. Then the monthly total is debited from your bank the following month. In France I could "sponsor" you and you'd get 6 months free but in UK, you can usually subscribe through the Camping associations for a discount, I think.😎

Hi thanks for watching glad you are enjoying the video. when we use the heating on electric hook up it does heat up the van, but when I saw the snow and it was really cold also used gas to boost it and it became very toasty.
