Were the Wildebeest in the first frame feeding on a pile of fresh hay? Canned hunt??? Reminds ya of the Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd bit: "I quietly stalk the rabbit to his hole, raise my hand to Give The Signal, ... and .... BLAM"!

Its South Africa. Pretty much a canned hunt country. That being said, if you might notice how dry it was, and the poor conditions of the animals, I'd guess they were feeding them to keep them alive as opposed to gain some ability to kill them.

Great shot and congratulations. You hit him he went down and never got up a very clean kill. The bowl was a really great example of a mature wildebeest too. I'm planning on using some of your 6.5mm 123 grain bullets for hand loads in my Swedish Mauser to hunt deer this year. I'm hoping for a similar result.

Why? I guess if it is old then ok but whatever makes you happy and if it helps preserve the animals in the area and I’m sure it costs you a small fortune to do this. Congrats
