I work in and around this industry for decades. Lots of people are exactly the same. Remember it is nothing but product to those that create it. A means to an end. A pay check. Yes its a job you enjoy but it is not your entire being or life.

Arif Ridzuan See, a lot of the more important deaths (e.g. Dumbledore) are from the Killing Curse, which kills you without doing any damage to your body - normal, non-magical autopsies didn’t find anything wrong with the bodies, other than the fact that they were dead. However, there are still quite a few to choose from, so it could still be quite fun to watch.

When I was at Star Wars Celebration Japan, John Knoll showed a clip of Yoda and Palpatine going head to head. Yoda leaps in to attack Palps, and with one swing, Palps slices Yoda in half. It was amazing. Get him on the couch and see if you can get him to show it.

Lazers do not pierce through bodies because in no scene in the original movies does a laser bolt actually hit a non-armored character. When they hit stormtroopers, their armor protects them from the burn, but usually knock most of the wind out of them so hard that they die anyways.
