These translations are really great… down to the unfinished sentences and random asides. It really helps us understand the meaning and feel of what’s being said. Thank you!
Agree! They have found a perfect balance between levels of original audio and translation. We still get the nuance in the voice while a great voiceover makes us understand what is said. It may seem trivial, but there are lots of channels where they don't include original sound, put loud back(fore)ground music, etc. This is the school book in how to do it 🏆
Try a brass clutch. We use brass brake pads on our fourwheelers and buggies. You do sacrifice some stopping power for longevity, but they still stop good enough. Even on the big rides we use them
well the first cars used leather so rubber will work for a short while,in the "bush mechanics " TV series aboriginal australians make clutch facings from wood in an emergency
In 1978 i lost my clutch disc in tok alaska in my 1964 Datsun.. we were hippies and did not have much money. we had to order a new disk from anchorage, and rent the garage from the gas station at night. Thankfully they only charged 5 dollars an hour. the pressure plate assembly was so old and corroded i could not adjust it because i was afraid i would break it. as it was i could not get the clutch to dis engage, so i drove 3200 miles to Albuquerque with no clutch release. You can shift without a clutch, but you have to have the engine speed just right. after a while i got good at it. We made it to Albuquerque, but by then i had worn out the starter, after having to stop the engine and engage first and restart the engine in first gear to get the truck to move. A couple years later some crazy teen agers crashed into that little datsun while i was in Portland Oregon as it was parked in front of my apartment. I happily proclaimed to my wife, Honey, someone killed the datsun. That solved allot of my problems. the answer was there all the time. BTW I had the clutch working when the truck died.
My grandfather had some old american car maybe a dodge, it had similar to wine corks for a clutch, was a wet system running in oil, my dad (a kid in the 1950's) went to the chemist to get 200 medicine bottle corks so his dad could rebuild the clutch
You should experiment with carbon fiber or Kevlar it should resist temperatures pretty good and it'll be easy to make the perfect thickness so the clutch won't stick
@@anubaral yes I know but that's special and that's made in a factory by machines they should build their disc by hand and then see what happens because it's just straight raw carbon fiber unlike already existing mixed with different materials and clutches soaked in oil but this one would be interesting to see a dry carbon fiber made by hand
Well even plain fiberglass would resist high temperatures, but the resin not really. It must be some severely compressed woven fiberglass or carbon fiber to cope with the stress, but it'll be nice to see and they'll figure something out anyways.
@@johnbelwell2461 that's what I'm talking about I hope that they're listening and got it all planned who knows maybe they got the videos already made they're ready to release them
@@johnbelwell2461 I know they make monocarbon clutch but it's very expensive so they should just try it because it's cheaper that's the idea when you live a hard life and communism you got to learn how to steal these manufacturer process and I'm a firm believer of building my own stuff even if I have the money to afford it but it would be nice if someone would experiment for me
they still do. They infuse other things into the cork now to help it, but if you ever see something listed as a "organic clutch" then that's what it is.
How about building the most difficult car to drive with all wheels having a steering wheel with two reverse steering wheels & two steer right go right steer left go right steering wheels. And Break pedals in the middle front seat & the accelerator pedal in the middle back seat? So that it requires Six people to drive it and each time you stop all steering drivers jump out and change seats LoL 😂
Try coating a tire with bedliner so it fills in the treads and makes a smooth surface when it's dry mix 50 percent bedliner and 50 percent pea gravel and coat the tire to make rough surface for the snow and ice or off road what ever dry pavement would probably be fun.
@@9PlatinumGamer9 He didn’t say remove the spark plugs… maybe glow plugs in addition? In any case I can’t see how it would start better unless it was EXTREMELY cold. Petrol works fine all the way down to about -40°
@@truthsmiles Colder than that. We've had gasoline motors start at temperatures lower than -40, and winter gasoline formulations are more volatile to help.
@@kingduckford Yeah I should have said "at least -40" - in any case I don't think the primary problem is fuel volatility - I'd say it's more likely very thick oil and/or the cold battery not having enough oomph. Hence why we have a lot more block heaters and battery heaters than fuel heaters :)
I remember the one where they put a large spring between to halves of the car. They need to do that with a slinky type spring. Imagine the dog toy in Toy Story, with the slinky for its middle... Or maybe a bunch of real Slinky's
RU-vid is Screwing You Guys! Shadowbanned from my inbox for almost a year! Such POS scumbags who run these platform's! And do these things to hard working individuals such as yourselves! Merry Christmas![An angel of the Lord said,] "Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger." Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." - Luke 2:11-14
@@kxpes An transmission pump could also be put in a custom housing in line. They actually have existed. Although you just get a worse version of both so its not ever seen in production cars. Some heavy duty vehicles have them though.
14:30 14:50 reminds me of my "drift car" with the snow plow for plowing "snow drifts". what else is drift car? big tire chains... V8 engine... like truck almost but only because of the tire chains.
Well if this video was just posted 2 days ago I think the bald guy that does these videos is okay I am a somewhat new subscriber I've been here with you probably for 3-4 months I love your videos especially how you did the Frozen videos with the cars outside I would love to see you do that with an American pickup truck or with any American vehicle that would be truly the test to see if an American vehicle could withstand the temperatures where you are in the winter but I swore I saw you on a RU-vid video it must have been your twin it looked like you and the guy had his son in the car with his dogs in the Russian soldiers were shooting at them and the father died I don't know about the Sun but it looked 100% to be you I've been asking for months if you are okay but now I obviously seen this new video so I'm assuming you are
Try replacing a clutch with a touqu converter or replace a touqu converter with a clutch, if it's even remotely possible I'm shure you could find a way
8:15 WOW lada steering wheels can just be ripped of hahaha iv never seen a steering wheel do that and when i was a mechanic i used to rip them off by hand no puller and never even bent one
It'll do that it's called friction the Robert's getting hot and sticky that's why I didn't use rubber on the crisis cuz they get too hot from the friction and it starts sticking that's why it's doing that
I just started the video but I'm thinking it might work a little bit if you're going slow but it's going to smell like burning rubber and then break down fairly quickly Я только что начал видео, но я думаю, что это может немного сработать, если вы едете медленно, но оно будет пахнуть паленой резиной, а затем довольно быстро сломается.
About the same thing is going on there as if you leave an unmodified clutch out in the moisture sitting for too long or if you wash your tractor and water gets down in that bell housing it freezes the clutch to the flywheel surface then you're only option from there ..if you can't get it to break free aside from taking it apart is hosing the clutch plate down with something like non silicone based penetrating or kerosene to get it to let go
You should turn a car into a snow catcher that heats it up and turns itself into a hot tub. Catcher as in you don't drive but it catches all the snow falling from the roof.
