Yea I agree because in some cultures this is considered normal and families like to be with each other so, I don’t think moving in with your parents etc should be looked down upon. Also, living with parents, even as an adult, can be perfectly fine and normal for several reasons. Firstly, it can be a cultural norm in many societies where multigenerational households are common, and family bonds are highly valued. It can provide a sense of closeness, support, and security for both the parents and the adult child. Secondly, living with parents can be a practical choice for financial reasons, as it allows for shared expenses and pooling of resources, which can be particularly beneficial in expensive urban areas. Additionally, living with parents can foster intergenerational relationships, where family members can learn from each other and provide mutual care and assistance. It's important to recognize that there are many valid reasons why adults choose to live with their parents, and it shouldn't be automatically stigmatized or looked down upon. Instead, it should be seen as a personal choice that is shaped by cultural, financial, and familial factors.

Hey Lacey and Eli! You never have to apologize for not vlogging certain things, it’s a privilege you share part of your life with us. Most of us fans understand how stressful moving is. Great idea to live with Monica, I’m a social worker on $43K a year and I’d have struggled to buy my house without staying at my parents for abit. For me it’s worked out about $300 cheaper per month than renting. Good luck, I’m rooting for you.

My pregnant daughter, SIL, dog and cat moved in with us when their home sold within 48 hours six years ago. They were here for 9-10 months while their new home was being built. My grandson came home from the hospital and lived here the first four months. They didn’t pay rent, and instead saved for their closing costs. It works. :) They are both professionals (nurse/engineer), so it’s truly not something to feel bad about or let anyone else look down on you for. :)

My husband and I moved in with his dad when our son was 1. We lived there for 2 years and now own a house. It’s not a terrible thing to move in with family and it’s wonderful to have such a great support system. I will always welcome my boys home no matter the situation ♥️

We've all been in the moving and settling in phase and it takes a while, especially if you're working too AND have a little one to keep you busy. My Mom lived with my sibs. We did t want to send her to a old age home. And my 37year old son bought a big house. We are going to convert te house in two sections. We all have our own private entrance. And we all contribute to the house bond.

I'm glad you guys are able to do this. I would recommend really make it happen and don't over stay. Years go by fast. Don't get confortable spending the extra money you will have because you don't have to pay 2000 for now and really look into your goal and see how much you guys need and have a goal date with the amount.

The move sounds like a great idea for everyone. It's a good idea to save for your own place. And even the rent you are paying actually goes to a relative. You won't be there forever, so enjoy the time you all have together - you will be glad in the future that Bexley and her grandma had this time together. It's also great to have another adult around just when you need to do little things and obviously can't leave Bexley on her own!

My boyfriend and I have been together 23 years and we have always rented townhomes and we have always done well. Then this year is the first year our rent is skyrocketing up to $1,756.⁰⁰ for our two bedroom. 😢 It was $1,109 & so I can totally understand why you chose to move out and stay with family for awhile. It's happening all across the country. Then we work jobs that aren't high paying and so its stressful. I'm so glad you have a place to go to. You are not alone. Thanks for sharing your experiences.
