I really like the scene when you picked Hannah's glasses and she talked about her mum and was smiling. One can tell that although she misses her mum terribly and we as a viewer know that from many vlogs, Hannah is at a very good place in her life and therefore is able to deal with the loss so much better. It made me really happy to see her talking to her mum in the sky without being sad but with a smile on her face knowing that she is there watching her. Beautifully captured.

You're the only RU-vid video that I always watch full screen. (Anyone else?!) Anything less would be completed and utter butchery . These weekly morsels of wonderfulness deserve the biggest uninterrupted screen they can get... today my iPad.... tomorrow a world sized floating movie screen in the sky around the entire earth?! Hahaha Grayson was on top form this week- “I love you because you love me and you help me out of the bath” I feel like that should be printed on valentines day cards or something. Also roo’s eyes! You could literally swim in them.

Hey Stef, how are you recording you voiceovers? I'm a voiceover artist and have some ideas for clearing them up a bit. Are you using a USB mic? If so, I recommend getting a large diaphragm condenser mic if you can record in a more sound-proof room and an audio interface (Scarlett Focusrite 2i4 has great pre-amps). I use a Rode NT1A in a closet that I put comforters up on the walls in to minimize any reflections and diffuse the sound. If that's not an option and you'd rather record our in a fairly open room, I recommend a shotgun mic; it's much more direction and can reject a lot of the room sound. You can bring it about 6 inches from your mouth and keep it off-axis so it doesn't catch the plosive sounds (p's and t's). I like the Rode NTG2 for that. And finally, I generally normalize, compress, and EQ in post production. Regarding compression, try +6db input gain, -16db threshold, a 4:1 compression ration and quick attack. With EQ, I'd pull a tiny bit out of the 140Hz range (generally feels a bit boomy), pull some out of the 500Hz range (those are the muddy mids), and boost a tad in the 12k Hz range to add a little brightness. there's a lot of talk in the comments about people liking Hannah being back, new people or people not liking vlogs since they moved to Bath etc. but part of what makes the videos so captivating to me us that the mood or vibe of the family comes through. it's real, engaging, funny, nostalgic, inspiring etc by turns. I think we are privileged to see a beautiful record of a family moving through life and the changes that are inherent.

I am so loving both of your senses of humor and am enjoying how you weave small storyboard bits in and out of the live action. Happy Birthday Hannah!! I turned 30 on the 19th and I ordered one of your rings as a gift to myself! I can hardly wait to get it, im all the way in Seattle and I think one of the things I'm most excited for is knowing my package is coming all the way from Bath! 😍 I can also relate so much right now with boy trouble. I have two boys 7 and 3.5 and my toddler is a total maniac! I cant threaten him, he yells and is vulgar. He actually scares the shit out of me most days! Haha. He is such a contrast from my first boy who was very easy going for the most part. I'm praying that this is a phase and he will outgrow it. But either way I've learned that i need to toughen up or else I'm screwed for the teenage years! Good luck to you mama friend, the sleep will get better I promise. Both of my boys were awful sleepers (big hungry babies that wanted to nurse constantly). So during this time just try to find one thing during the day that makes you feel good. Dont feel guilty, just enjoy your moment and take care of yourself. You are an amazing mom! ❤

Love this! I turned 29 on the 16th and have a little girl (Evelyn aka Evie) who was born on the 6th Aug 2017 (9.2 lbs). I was recently introduced to your vlog/films by a friend and just wanted to say I’m hooked. I love the way they’re edited and I find them so moving. It’s nice to see another family going through parenthood at the same stage as us. Loving the weaning clips as we’ve weaned Evie at five months too x
