So according to Smart's reasoning, if you flop and get the call you still win if it gets challenged and overturned because you have now taken the other team's ability to challenge a missed call later in the game.

But I am pretty sure if you challenge and the call gets overturned you keep your challenge. You only lose your challenge if the call you challenge ends up being legit.

Also, remember a game against Westbrook when Marcus was fairly new. Smart got in his head and changed Russ' game. Russ was visibly pissed in the post game interview, which I am sure Smart loved. This is a guy you can never show emotion to, or he just clamps down even more. He drove Cousins crazy a few times too. Smart is a MASTER!

The turn around at the end saying that “y’all are mad that I’m pulling y’all moved on y’all” and JJ pretty much agreeing makes the clip so much better. @Joe Parziale But you see, there is that line, when you cross it you cant go back. And Marcus cant go back. He is flopping on another level and he does it ALL the time. Others may do it once or twice a game, they may do it especially when someone invades their landing space, and they will do it in a mild form where they exaggerate contact. Marcus is flying through the air on completely different trajectories like he got shot or stepped on a landmine! It's hilariously ridiculous and the fact that his excuse is on the level of a 5 year old "you started it", tells me all I need to know about him.

I am actually fine with defensive players flopping a little bit. That’s because the NBA let’s offensive guys get away with a lot and they barely let people play defense… So it makes sense that guy like Marcus smart or Draymond Green try to use flopping to their advantage

What an awesome talk!!! You can see by the end that Marcus was thinking so hard while he listened to come up with a **Smart** (ba dum tiss) comeback and he made it! Was a good answer. And is so good to hear an ex pro who played the game at a really high level talking his experiences together with other players, we get to hear the inside informations that wouldn't exist in an normal interviews. P.S. Marcus logic for plays were really brilliant, it shows how the true game is more nuanced and how foul baiting, Challenges and time outs can be used strategically against your opponent. It's pretty amazing.
