We traded the tourer for a static caravan

Hi Dave /Helen . Just a big thank you for all your vlogs , just over a year ago we invested in an old 21 yr old Swift for our first van due Mark being recently ill with Cancer, it gave us the freedom and flexibility we needed. Our first trip in Sept 21 was to the Norwich CCC site( I did thank you previously for the reccomendation ) We've enjoyed evey minute of our first year with 16 weekends and 2 full weeks away in our caravan and of course watching and taking on board all your advice etc. So, on the 26th Oct we picked up our new ( New to us ) caravan A Compass Camino 554 2019 and just returned today from a short tester trip in North Yorkshire. Thanks to you both we've found the courage and confidence to grow and will never look back . Hugs to you both , Gillian and Mark in Leeds.x

Haven do have some lovely sites, pre motorhome we used to take the dogs to places like that x

What a fantastic family holiday park Dave & Helen, it’s a big place. Statics are plush these days especially the Gold or Signature ones. BTW you could have walked to work 😂 . All the best Rob & Gail

Looks like a lovely well kept park. It was always statics with my parents growing up but much prefer the freedom of a tourer. Bella is adorable, her enthusiasm for the agility course :)

A lot of people feel it’s the natural step changing to a Static Caravan from a Tourer as it’s more accessible and easier as we get older. But you can’t beat the freedoms of Touring ❤️

It's great to see the retro "holiday Parks still going strong... brilliant fun for the family on a budget with young ones , countless teenager's have meet their first love and had their heart's broken at a holiday park over the decades...was that you in the Santa clause suit??🤔💕🇬🇧🇺🇦

Shame they pulled down most of the clubs and I remember the chalets and caister beach caravan park past the bingo hall now swallowed up by haven.I remember caister and seashore in the mid 70s onwards until I took up touring

MY Mother and father had a static in the Lake District. .Not a great fan as they gave the same view every time LOL

Phew I thought I might have to unsubscribe. Keep on touring

We looked at one but no contract and no rights. Best of luck with it. Bought a Moho instead.
