The turret ring shot is also pretty lethal IMO, at all angles is weaker than the turret

One time I was in M19 and attacked a Tiger 2. I couldn't pen it so I was just driving around it in 10 meters and shoting. But then I remembered the weakspot on the back of the turret just when the Tiger turned its turret away from me. 3 to 5 shots and got a kill

It would be nice if my tank rounds were not bouncing off a hinge on latch on a panzer and getting my 228mm of pen absorbed. Same goes for the sights that they have. It just eats spalling.

German tank armor feels so inconsistent, sometimes I'll tank 25 shots directly aimed at my weak points, and then other times they'll just launch a round through my thickest front armor at an angle with non piercing rounds like it's butter 😭

Playing US tanks around 6-7, lower glacis. T-54 and up (nearly whole T-series) has lower glacis as weak points, ammo is stored under turret on this level-

Just getting into tanks. Keep going against a lot of rank 2 tanks as rank 1. Its more painful than plane or ship uptiering. I can't pen anything lol

I’ve heard somewhere that weak spots occur more often in between the forward first and second third of the tank. For example, if you were to split the tank into three thirds no matter the angle of the tank, you should shoot about where the intersection of the forward most and the middle section of the tank is. As another example, if a tank is perpendicular to where you are aiming, you should try to shoot at the intersection of the first and second third of the tank but if it is at a roughly 40 degree angle, you should shoot above where the front of the track is as that would be roughly in between the first and second third of the tank.

Problem with this game Is that it takes me 500 rounds to kill someone but when they kill me it take 1 shot it’s like bruh….

Shoot anywhere where it’s flat, machine gun, commander copula, or if you can’t find any (like for example an IS-6) you can always get the barrel, the tracks and kill it from the side

I wanna add that machinegun may not penetrate alot of hull but it can do massive damage. U can use it to wreck tracks and supress a enemy.

Great vid ! Also, for my fellow tankers fighting the Americans etc. the gunner sits on the *left* of the barrel so if/when you take a turret shot shoot to the left.

For the longest time I thought the driver/mg port was the only weakspot and any shot anywhere else that killed was a fluke. Unless I'm driving that vehicle, then it dies to a burst of 7.62 anywhere.

I usually aim for the lower front armor on soviet tanks, it usually one shots the tank. But if the front of the tank isnt an option i usually go for center of mass. I wanna add that im still new to the game and I currently play 5.7 german, so im not the most skilled player.

Turret bulge some times stores ammo so if you can pen it's an easy kill

So it looks like AP-HE is your best bet 90% of the time IF you can manage to accurately hit the tiny ports right? I'm in 2.7-3.0 tier and have been struggling where I'll land 4-5 penetrating shots on someone, then get one shot. No clue how to counter this.

Playing as germans, my pz4 consistently gets 1 shotted to the front basically everytime.

Shoot the tracks to stop it shoot the gun next then destroy the tank at close range

Wait bounces are a thing? Pretty sure the destruction of realistic armour properties saw the end of bounces. I sure as hell don't bounce and I also sure as hell don't have my shell bounce if I hit something.

I've been grinding all the teams at the same time. I'm trying out every single unit. Some are way too costly. Lol However, you get a feel each team for sure. I think it's best you take your time and enjoy each unit and level. Sure there are better or faster or deadlier. But there is a satisfaction at killing tanks with let's say the bm8-24 😅

I enountered 2 russian tanks right next to one another with my german StuH. A KV-2 and T-34, all my shells bounced and I died.

In fact Russian WW2 tanks were crap slapped together by untrained peasants. Some plates had 2 inch gaps with pieces of scrap welded between. The drivers needed a big hammer to beat the shifter to go 2 to 3rd 4th was just not useable. The Sherman is a much better tank than this game portrays. The T34 STILL has it's own propaganda dept. in Russia to feed the myth.

How to pen T34 T29 M26 from front with russian 6.3? It's impossible at any range and angle. You only show side shots which even 1.0 can pen which has no armor pen lol

I've shot the cheeks of the cannon so many times and it just bounces off.

I use the kv1 zis 5 and I always get killed by m4's how do I pen them

I think the tiger hi is the best 5.3 in the game. Leapords are always the best it just seems anything german is just super overkill and unbalanced lol

For whatever reason, I can never kill a KV1 Tank with a M4, M24 and M4A1. I can kill a KV1 with a M10 but never with any of the other tanks. On the other hand, I seem to be able to be killed by anything on wheels. Come on people, this shit is manipulated as manipulated can be.

So why the heck are russian tanks so hard to kill they never made anything fantastic.

Nearly every single battle for me has had the same results apart from the rare good game i have. I get 1 shot by literally anything, even tanks worse than mine. This is how i die 98% of the time. 1 shot. No matter where i get hit. Ive literally got hit in the front wheel of the track on an angle that would send the shell through the wheel and into the ground. instaed instant death. BUT It usually always takes me many many many hits to kill, with the occasion lucky 1 shot. I know all about weak spots and shot placement but they dont seem to play a part in my gameplay or make any difference. im 1 shot in all angles on all parts of the tank no matter what. Yet it doesnt work that way for me. Idk whats going on in this game
