Weber Genesis 330 Starter or Igniter replacement! How to replace the ignition module!

thank you for the video. looks super easy. I may just replace the module and not the wires.

Everything was clear except for the one important step that you flew over. Did you remove the burner control plate and all knobs to get to burners and ignitors? 10 seconds or 3 seconds visual of this quick video clip or photo would have helped your viewers to complete the project. (Of course, once you are working on it, you can determine if this is really necessary. But this is a "how-to" video.

I have a Weber Genesis 3 igniter that wasn't working. It's a little different than this model, the battery is located in the bottom just behind the cabinet door. All I did was take the battery out, verified the battery had 1.5v and reinstalled it. Igniter works again now. Weird. Figured I'd post this for someone else who may be looking for a fix like I was.

I replaced the battery. Works great now!

I have a feeling we missed a couple hours of removing lots of parts not shown and 6 beers in the garbage!

How does the sideburner ignition connect to the igniter?

Why did you leave the part of the video out where you took the front plate off?

I just replaced the switch and used the old wires... 5 minute job

you probably could have just replaced the battery??

Don’t waste your time changing the igniter switch change the battery first that’s usually the problem just unscrew the front of the igniter button and you can replace the AA battery without taking off any panels.

You dont drink fast enough.
