@@Sarah-re7cg all things considered, I’m so glad no one was entertaining his behaviour. The fact that nobody even giggled makes me so happy. he had to stand there and realised what he just did.
That woman who got in an argument with her fiances mom is doomed. Awful mother in law and a groom who can barely stand up to his own mom and can barely stand up for his bride. That bride chose wrong.
Yes! Imagine getting nagged during your wedding. We just got a glimpse of the next 40 years of his life. She scares me. The priest, however, was great.
I️ mean, he probably loses shit all the time and she has to take responsibility and she just wanted him to do this ONE thing and not embarrass her in front of everyone they care about. I️ feel bad for her.
I could legit not marry someone like that. I will not remind someone multiple times of extremely basic shit or extremely important shit. Why am I sharing my life with them if I have to carry the entire weight of 2 lives now versus us being partners?
I almost think he is sober, which is somehow way worse, and his attitude is basically “I couldn’t care less about marrying this woman”. It was a bad sign when he can’t stop laughing and yet nobody else is making a sound
@@corvus2512i honestly feel like he never wanted to get married but she made enough ‘arguments’ in his eyes to convince him to get married and this was his way of getting back at her and being like i told u i didn’t gaf about getting married now look what’s happened if y had just listened to me this never would have happened
she's probably the type of mother who does EVERYTHING for her son and thinks that no woman will ever be good enough for him. Surprised she let him get that far.
If memory serves me the wife commented on the original video when it went viral, the mother had been abusive towards the son his whole life since childhood and confronting her was very traumatic for him which is why he does nothing. I saw the original in a Phillip Defranco vid from a few years ago
at my brother’s wedding, his groomsman got so drunk BEFORE the ceremony. he got into a fight with his wife (a bridesmaid) and ripped his suit off, tore it apart, stole a car, got into a wreck, and got arrested. I had a dry wedding & don’t regret it 😂
oh no it’s gonna last and it’s going to be horrible every single moment and the worst part is she’s never going to leave. so many women are with men that let their mothers abuse them and it’s so sad
Idk, I'm from a toxic family and i sympathise with him. Not everyone learns the NC rule with narcissistic family members. At the time of his wedding, he was probably still under her thumb and didnt know how to stand up to his mother. You can see at the end how the bride pulls him close and starts talking to him, like she's whispering support
The clip of the man with literally no vows is such a red flag. I sincerely hope that woman gets away from him. He expected her to plan the whole wedding and couldn't even write a few lines about someone he loves. She literally had in her vows that she wants to "hold him accountable" like he's a child.
He clearly only views her as a sex object if that's all he has to say. The kinda guy who will offer ZERO then when she gets upset and stops sleeping with him, he will be angry and blame her for ruining the marriage. Why do women pick these horrendous men.
Fast forward exists, you know? You can double-tap at the right side of the video and it skips the next 10 seconds. You could also just drag the slider to the right until it's over.
Someone else said the story was that the mother abused him throughout his life and her yelling caused him to have a panic attack, also he DID say something!
@@namoa8202didn’t even TRY to defend his wife, he needs to learn to stick up for HIMSELF and his FAMILY. if he can’t do that simple thing, don’t get married.
He did just freeze up, but idk he may have even been abused as a kid by her or something wild. No one knows. I’m trying not to cast judgment on either of them, but there’s no way she does something like this on their wedding and has never said some out of place bs before. If I thought there was even the slightest possibility that someone in my family would interrupt; they’re not being invited in the first place.
bruh you're asking for a potential victim of abuse to stand up to their abuser on the what's supposed to be the best day of their lives. That's absolutely a paralyzing moment. If it were the brides father causing issues, would you expect her to stand up for her husband despite potentially being emotionally abused? This whole idea that him not standing up to his mom in this moment is just people being socialized to believe that men always have to be strong, even in terrifying moments.
@@harley69 i would expect the bride to stand up to her father, its not a man thing, its just defending your partner when they need help, he seems to be close to his mom as she was attempting to defend him in a way, so he couldve calmed the situation since she would more likely listen to him than the bride shes yelling at.
Can you imagine filming alone in your room and then getting up and walking around your desk singing “circle of life” to the camera? How does this man not break character😭
He did speak up though. It's shown in the clip. Also, I will say that I've read that the actual context for why he didn't do anything immediately was because he was starting to have an anxiety attack from his mother's yelling.
We don't know anything about these people. Maybe he's a spineless coward who can't even stand up for his wife properly, or maybe he's been tormented so much by his mother throughout his life that he needs his wife to stand up for both of them.
I don't know. I mean growing up being yelled at a lot, even now when my step-dad raises his voice I'm like a deer in headlights. We don't know these people. Maybe he was trying not to cry, or trying not to lose it even more than she was.
@@aisatsen102I hate astrology ppl the month you were born has absolutely nothing to do with who you are and it’s kinda crazy to think it does. Do yall just not believe in psychology then? You just believe the stars control everything? That’s waaaacl
20:02 the way i thought the fly was gonna enter cody’s mouth like it usually does but zade rly said “nah im better than this” and made it land on cody’s face the exact moment he moved his head PLS
@@cooliostarstache5474no. It’s too drunk. People can drink and get drunk as long as it’s a good time. Listen to what the other person said again. “Not always cute and funny” Nothing wrong with getting drunk in a situation that’s not your wedding
I think it's nice that Cody was being super considerate and Kelsey was both super chill and super funny. That may be parasocial but It's a funny story lol
Those cakes cost $400-750 on average and oftentimes a lot more so I'd do the same. Not to mention, he ruined their moment and it's not like they can just get another one on such short notice.
This happened at my brother’s wedding. The little kid is walking down the aisle with the ring pillow, hands it off to the best man, there’s only one ring. Best man is freaking out. All the groomsmen are seated. I’m a good friend of him and I’m sitting next to him so I see what’s going down. In the process of freaking out, he begins to get up from his seat and look around confused. Knowing his lack of social awareness, I’m afraid he’s going to interrupt the ceremony, so I yank his sleeve to get him back in the chair. Luckily, my dad’s in the front seat, close to the groomsmen’s stand. We have this charades-esque exchange where we try to explain to him *there’s only one ring!* *one ring!*, signaling with our fingers. He realizes, immediately leaves his seat and begins to search the aisle leading up to the aisle down the middle of the church. After a few minutes he nonchalantly walks back up to the groomsmen’s stand, hands off the ring, walks back to his seat. Everything ends up moving without a hitch. We got the ring before they said their vows, and they didn’t have to know about it until long after the fact when it was just funny.
I feel so sorry for the flawed/flawless guy. It's probably going on for years and will never stop until he draws his boundaries/cuts his mom out of their life or gets a divorce. It's so selfish of his mom to force him to choose a side
there was a comment on one of those original videos that said that weddings are usually a day that so many girls dream about their whole lives as like a special and magical and loving moment and if the person you're marrying uses that opportunity to humiliate you that is just.... not a good sign
Yea those men were @sses but I don't think wedding days should be dreamed about so much. Some young women only want to be married so they can have a beautiful wedding, but it's just one day and over quickly.
I want to get married in a very small thing just in front of my mom and my sisters and the grooms close family. Huge weddings are the dumbest thing ever
For everyone else who was worried about the last clip: the singer was fine or it was staged. Either way the singer's website wrote that it was funny for him and the dude is still alive and making music 11 years later. We're good, the singer is Siggi

@@harley69if my dad did that shit i would absolutely stand up for the person im planning on being with for the rest of my life? Stop copy-pasting your comment and get a better argument. It’s cowardly and embarrassing to not stand up for your partner, ESPECIALLY during what’s “supposed to be the best day of their lives”.
@@ellie-gu6ct it's great that you can do that. I'm genuinely so happy for you. But we have to acknowledge that some people aren't in the mental condition to do that yet. It's about having empathy. I know for a fact that if my mother did this at my wedding, I wouldn't be able to say a damn thing. Because it's a paralyzing situation
@@harley69 He’s not the one being insulted and verbally abused at their wedding, his bride is and yeah I’m female and my dads abusive but I should absolutely be expected to defend my partner if he was screaming in her face on our big day and I would say the same if I was interested in men and had a male partner who was being verbally attacked by my dad, I would do anything I could to deescalate the situation so it doesn’t put a stain on the day and set clear boundaries, which he should have done with his mother before / during her verbal attack on his wife, this isn’t about him, his bride is the one being targeted not him, you’re determined to paint the narrative he’s an abuse victim with no genuine reason to think that, he screams mamas boy to me, which yeah can be toxic, but it doesn’t automatically make him a full blown abuse victim who’s justified in just standing back and letting his wife defend herself
That kid having a complete meltdown at the slightest inconvenience is the funniest and most relatable thing I’ve seen. Literally dropped the baskets of flowers and just broke down crying. I was so dead 💀😂

THANK YOU like wtf I wish there was some kind of warning, especially with the choking clip oh my god I watched it before looking at the comments it’s going to be replaying in my brain all night
16:32 when you mentioned the foreshadowing of her saying “I asked you multiple times” and him acting like an incompetent klutz made my stomach drop. I hope he stops being an idiot or he’s neurodivergent or something and is forgetful and is still working on it because he’s giving off “weaponized incompetence” vibes big time.
Watching the Cody guy laugh and giggle like it’s not his wedding and at the woman he supposedly “loves” while the officiant is coaxing him to say literally ANYTHING loving was that woman’s sign to walk away at the alter and embarrass him after he made her look like a fool
She seemed so sad and not excited after that.... I would be LIVID. Weddings aren't done a whim! This man had plenty of time to put how he feels about her to paper. "I didn't have anything written down." He just told everyone there he feels nothing and will promise her NOTHING on day 1 and everyone there is BEGGING him to say something meaningful. Embarassing. "We lasted this long!" aka... "She's put up with my bullshit for this long, she'll put up with this to! 🥴"
I really think he was drunk… wasn’t nothing that funny!🙄 she really should have walked out. She looked so beautiful in her dress and he couldn’t even compliment how stunning she was! “That’s all I got” REALLY CODY YOU LOSER?
Having something unexpected happen at a wedding can be a good thing. It can make the event more memorable and sometimes become an inside joke with the couple.
Apparently my flower girls began handing individual flower petals to guests sitting in the back few rows and all I could hear from behind the closed doors with my dad was everyone giggling and saying aw. It was really special to hear everyone tell me how funny it was, and finally get to see the footage of the bits you don’t see as the bride.
The dove one was not funny. Working in avian medicine has taught me that what most likely happened is the man held the bird too tight and suffocated it, causing the bird to pass out. The crack heard was most likely the beak/face and keelbone hitting the floor and getting damaged. Poor baby.
Maybe edit your comment to add that it ends at 3:59 too (id comment it myself but you already have a fair bit a likes so more people would see it). I tried skipping past it and THREE TIMES caught puking noises again🤦🏾♀️ I’m not even that squeamish but the repeated puke asmr got to me a bit while eating lol
Hey Cody.. just wanted to remind u most of us are enjoying a nice meal while watching ur videos..so thank u for the throw up the chunks and swallow it commentary.. appreciate it 😃😃
He doesnt need to cater specifically to the “im eating” audience jfc you guys are weak as fuck😭 ppl are actually out here dying and you guys are bitching bc you had to hear somebody puke a few times???
3:33 Cody this is the first video that actually made me throw up bc of that freaking lady man. you dry retching made me gag and THEN TO REPLAY THE CLIP?!?!?!??!!?!?!"!?! WHY WAS THE AUDIO OF IT HITTING THE GROUND SO CLEAR WTFFFFZJHCGZSDJHFHFDIHAB
the pretending to forget the vow speech paper, then finding it and pulling it out. You look at and say "wait, this just says she's hot", throwing it away; then proceeding to say them from memory is kinda hilarious
Man I just got out of a relationship where the dude was extremely low effort and he never did anything for me. Its so strange to think there's men out there who might do these things
@@helainanatasha7496I don't think good men are rare, but obviously people complain about bad things more so you'll hear more about bad men compared to good ones.
@@helainanatasha7496I think that many “good men” aren’t attractive to you. You stayed with the man who put in no effort. Attractive guys are more often jerks than average guys, just a fact. You ever hear that lyric “Prince Charming would never settle for you….just pick a guy and love him”. It’s the same with women, guys pick the cutest girl they can date and then they’re nuts and they think all women are witches. Look for the personality traits you want and let looks come second. EDIT: and don’t ignore red flags because he’s attractive too. That’s a bad road
flashing the gun is actually pretty popular i saw one where the husband, wife, and bestman/groomsmen did it and their reaction made it seem like it wasnt planned
I saw a vid of the bride jokingly saying no while being asked if she’d take her would-be groom and the officiant had to legally call off the wedding - so I wonder the legality behind basically threatening people with lethal weapons into not objecting??? 😂😂😂 time for Googz!
