This was perfect. It was a good pace, it wasn’t too difficult but it was not easy that’s for sure. And there wasn’t one exercise I hated lol. Thank you
I've read everywhere that crunches aren't recommended when pregnant, so I'm wondering if that bird dog crunches are a good exercise to put in a pregnancy workout?
I did these kinds of exercises throughout pregnancy with no issues. A rule of thumb is, if you can control your form correctly during an exercise, then there shouldn't be a problem continuing to do it! This video has a bit more info on core exercises during pregnancy: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vfPymueKNCM.html
@@hayleymrua I just didn't do them. I saw a physio that gave me some safe core exercises for pregnancy and I didn't have any separation even at full term.
As long as you don't have any dizziness or adverse effects, short amounts of time (10-15min) spent on your back should be fine! But if you do feel a bit faint, then positions like side lying or supported up on your elbows may work better.
Thanks for the feedback! Sometimes you'll feel it most where there's possible weakness, so your abs may then actually be quite strong if you're feeling it more in your legs :)
