He's such a handsome boy! Happy Birthday! Our girl is now 10 months old, still has lots of zoomies in the park, impossible to tire out and silly fits when she thinks we're not looking. Wouldn't part with her for the world .
Wonderful to catch up with your exploits with Lord Cannon - I've missed your posts. He has grown into a very handsome boy. His zany antics and "having a bonkers session" face amuses me. I'm sure he is a very loving boy too. I hope you continue to share your life with Lord Cannon with us. Regards - Jane X
It's like watching my goofball. I have a half Viszula and something. He was a rescue. But he is the greatest dog ever. I make the bed and he rearranges it. Truly the best!
My vizska just turned one year old she started swimming at 8 weeks to the day, Yours needs to try swimming in deeper water if they can touch bottom they try to Spring upward with their rear legs while splash with their front versus doing a steady efficient non splashing doggy paddles in deeper water
Lord Cannon is a lucky dog! Working, raising a family, a Vizsla puppy and vlogging? Does he realize his parents are SUPER HEROES?? My husband and I are channeling our inner super heroes as we just picked up our 8 week old Vizsla, Hazel (Nuts), yesterday! She is our second Vizsla. Coming upon your posts reminded me of the everyday reality, filled with the exasperation and exuberance, of owning this breed. You helped us step out on faith. We look forward to the shenanigans that we know are in store for us! If I can find the strength to vlog, perhaps I can carry the torch. All the best.
Yes! I've been waiting for a new video for forever! I gotta tell ya, we got a Vizsla puppy about two months ago and I absolutely understand what you went through in your first couple videos. Glad to see Lord Cannon has grown to be a studly part of your family!
It’s so great to see LC and how much he has grown! It was Harleys Birthday on the 26th so his dad baked him a doggy cake 🎂, which he loved! Unfortunately Harley still has to be left in a playpen during the day as still can’t really be trusted in the kitchen but when I’m with him in the evenings he gets to lay on his big boy bed as much as he wants to and he will even go on there while cooking / eating ( because he knows he will get a treat). He went through his fussy eating phase, as my work routine changed a little and is still now a little picky but we managed to get there in the end 🥰🐾🦴🐶🐕
Aww that’s good. A birthday cake, lucky boy! I have to say I have never ever seen a steak eating so quickly in all of my life, I would probably say it took less than 30 seconds! 😳🤣Thanks for your great comments.🥰🐾🐾
I enjoyed watching all your great videos.. such a great area you have to walk your V. Beautiful countryside. Have you thought about getting him a GPS collar ?😊
Great video and lovely to see him fit and healthy. We pick ours up this week. If you were to offer one bit of advice and lessons learned, what would it be?
Congratulations! I think if I could go back I would have started leaving him on his own from the beginning, only for 30 seconds at a time just to show him that being on his own was okay. As it was a struggle to undo the problem we caused by someone being with him all the time at the start. Good luck. 😊🐾🐾
@@LordCannonTheVizsla thanks very much for the advice. Agreed, I do think all the "separation anxiety" is over advised. I spoken with some owners and they leave theirs 2 to 5 hours and they have been fine as long as they get plenty exercise. Keep us updated. Matt
A bit of advice from our breeder that might help you is to buy a book called "easy peasy puppy squeezy" by Steve Mann (It's like £4 on amazon). For the first few weeks of our pups life this was invaluable - it's got some of the best advice on raising a puppy and without it I'd have been completely lost at the start. Another really good tip we found with our puppy is that he did not know when he needed to sleep (we expected him to crash and sleep but he didn't) and when he didn't sleep he would become very nippy / easily frustrated. We had to get into a routine and start putting him in his crate after he had been awake for a set time (1 hr or so) and leaving him to nap whether he liked it or not because he needed to sleep it's just he didn't know it. After figuring that out he was a calmer pup, although still a handful, just more manageable. We're 11 months in and he's becoming the best dog I could have wished for. You've got a challenging few months ahead but stick with it and get enrolled onto a training class when you can. There is something extremely special about this breed - I've never known a dog be so eager to please and so loving, I will never get a different breed now lol.
Lovely vids, beautiful boy! You say he doesn’t use the crate now but when he did, what size was it? Building up to our own addition and have a bed space planned, but need to ensure it’s big enough! Thanks.
Beautiful boy. You appear to have great solitary area to walk him. Are you ever able to walk him off leash? When we walk out 4 month old around our lake trails, she’s off leash a lot and does stay close by. the breeder mentioned that Vizslas like to stay close and will not run off on you. That appears to be the case so far
My 1 and a half year old Vizsla pup just passed away from an epileptic seizure a few days ago. I was wanting to ask you guys if you see any health issues with urs and how did you go about picking a breeder? Thank you!
So lovely to see another video from you, missed seeing what Lord Cannon has been up to. Can I ask his height? Our Vizsla is almost one and was wondering if he’s on the smaller side 🐶 🐾
@@LordCannonTheVizsla thank you. So hard to measure them isn’t it 🤣 Our Vizsla is 24inches but just under 20kg. We are trying everything to fill him out a little. 🐶 Worry a little why he’s not filling out.
@@coralallon8217 yes very difficult, he was trying to eat the tape measure! 😂 I would say LC is on the heavier side for his height. He would eat all day long if I let him! 😊🐾🐾
Hey, he has grown into a handsome boy, we have recently got a vizsla, he,s nearly 4 months old, so loving, he,s a velcro dog hahaha, just out of interest what are feeding your boy?
@@LordCannonTheVizsla Yes he’s a big Vizsla! But very mellow and sweet! Still in training as a bird dog! We have a 45 pound 3 year old vizsla! They look so funny next to each other but play so great!
