We have made this series to share some of the details behind our conversions which will hopefully be a useful insight for self builders. Each week we will post a video of the progress of our current build including the methods, appliances used and the order we are doing things.
We do have a team of 4 so you could expect everything to take a little longer if you are working alone!
This conversion is of a Citroen Relay L3H2 and it will be transformed into our Milo dinette model layout.
This video of week 3 goes through building the shower cubicle, kitchen unit, step and brake light pillar boxing in.
TIMESTAMPS
0:00 Intro
0:40 Shower cubicle
11:01 Boxing in of brake light horizontal pillar
18:13 Step
19:28 Kitchen unit
If you want to follow the progress live, follow our Instagram stories here / vanlifeconv. .
See more information about the spec of this model www.vanlifeconversions.co.uk/...
Do let us know if there are any areas you particularly want us to focus on filming in the comments below.
This video is not intended as advice or recommendations. Please seek professional opinion for any aspects of your conversion you are not comfortable with.

Tremendous attention to detail and quality. If I was able to buy a ready made conversion, you would be at the top of my list after seeing this build process. Huge respect.

Well done for doing these builds as parts they really help. Been working on an 1983 Dodge S50 which has been registered as a camper in 1994 was parked up since 1995 until 2019 when I purchased it, only 47000 miles although lots of welding lol Getting inside soon and your videos will really help thank you

Great build and really inspirational, thank you for sharing. Question if I may, what size shower tray is that and where do you source it from

Hi guys, good to actually see a detailed look at a shower which is really helpful. Would you be able to tell me what you do for the shower door, is it purpose built by you or do you buy them in, how to you keep the shower room watertight and stop it from warping? Many thanks in advance

Thanks for your comment, we use a lightweight internal door from Howdens, painted and lined with plastic. This will be covered in the next video from week 7 :)

Can I ask where you get the rear universal windows from? Do they have flyscreens? Thanks

Thats a weirdly small drain for a shower. 22mm? That will fill up with water very Quick imo
@markeverettreed

so the grey colored drain is under the drain pan and metal part screwed in
