Wait, “All these sentient things are not from the vault … but we don’t know why they are here”? C’mon! It looks bad from the outside, but I didn’t think it was that bad on the inside?!
Sad things is that orzhov is my favourite combination but only when is not sacrifice, and here we have yet another sacrifice archetypes (like it was in the past 12 set). I really loved angels in khald, some different control variations when they don't involve tokens, i made a restoration deck in kamigawa, and even tried to make auras/sack work in VOW, but it wasn't a well thought archetype for standard. They just feel like the same thing every set, at least recent one haven't had something unique in so long.
I don't enjoy that these Big score cards being in the list slot but it's fitting if you pull one to hit the jackpot. Either way love loot and the epilogue story giving some further information on him and Jace's return.
I find it very unfortunate and very confusing that boosters from this standard set can include cards that are not standard legal, and so that I cannot use to play standard with.
Hasbro is a abusive parent company beating WotC like a pinata to make money fall out. First they fire staff & close studios, then force unused art to be shoehorn in and now Hasbro wants their own Baby Yoda in the stupidest narrative sense possible.
On point. They are also so behind on the hype that these gimmicks do more harm than good. I am also worried about Marvel for the same reason - Marvel might be done for and buried by 2025.
@@JasonOshinko for the fact that when they talk about the cards they say "yes we thinked It was funny" or something similar and not Say nothing about wt was the concept behind the card, where they think Will be played and why
"these dinosaurs, we don't know why theyre here" ☠️☠️☠️ i love magic, and the card artworks are amazing, but it really feels like WotC struggles coming up with actual plots and settings
There is a plot... there are omenpaths opening & nobody knows why This is why the new sets are every character showing up randomly because everyone is going through these paths
@@famousstranger8468 i understand the omenpaths, and i understand that Thunder Junction is currently a hub for omenpaths, but its weird that everyone immediately dresses as cowboys and plays the tropes in-universe. There's few interactions about how they're all coming from different planes and the clash of cultures etc that comes from it. We are given lore and a story but it feels like the product is decided on first and then they slap a story on top. The cute fomori baby might end up tying up with bloomburrow being the cute animal plane, but it feels like WotC going for a stitch/baby yoda marketable mcguffin mascot now. We'll see
