I’ve started reducing my portions last week, like this morning I had 1 egg, because If I had 2 I will feel really full and now hopefully I will keep on going with this so I don’t get fat 🙏🏼
At a restaurant I will cut everything in half and kind of separate the halves from each other a little before I start eating. Or if it’s pasta I will ask for an extra plate and portion out what I will eat. It’s too awkward for me to ask for a takeout container at the beginning of the meal. Once I can visualize the proper portion size in front of me I’m pretty good at only eating that amount and leaving the rest. I know someone who would dump black pepper all over her leftovers because she didn’t trust herself to not go home and eat the rest of it right away.
we ask for takeout boxes at the end of the meal; never been refused, see plenty of other people doing it too. divide the meal in half or even thirds, then you have 1 or 2 additional meals the next days!

I hate eating I don’t think I’m human I just find it to be a waste of time so I eat all my veggies protein and grains and fruit in one plate I measure it all to have the right amount of calories for me and I get it over with then I have energy the whole day and unless I exercise I don’t need extra calories
one drink portion is 200 to 250 ml. and it should be one portion of drink to one meal. above that its water if youre thirsty if to treat yourself you eat out once or twice a week, you can eat the whole meal.
After 3 years of bariatric surgery I mimicked my moms portions (she had the surgery not me) and I lost 58 pounds I had too much... I need to do that again now I just lost all sense of portion size and meal time with the confinement alone for a year... I was 10 pounds over before but now im back to 52 pounds over 😑
If you want to lose weight cut out all sugar and wheat products and don't eat until the evening, intermittent fasting is the best and fasted way to lose weight.
Fast weight loss does not equate to healthy weight loss. No more than 2lbs a week is considered healthy to lose. It has to be sustainable otherwise you'll just put it all back on eventually. There's no true quick fix for weight loss that is for a lifetime. Look, most people cannot realistically eat one meal a day. I would go crazy if I couldn't eat until dinner time. Not to mention it's kinder to your stomach to eat more frequent smaller meals during the day. The goal should be optimal health, not just reaching a number on a scale.
