Here are the things I wish I knew before buying my weighted vest!
Weight: they are heavier than you think. Even adding just 12lbs will feel like a lot to most.
Fit: some are loose. If you are looking for one for more static movement than a looser one is probably OK. If running or doing explosive dynamic moves than you will want to go with a more fitted option.
Comfort: you will also want to look at the material. If rough canvas it may last, but won't be very comfortable.
Cost: generally you get what you pay for, but that doesn't mean you need the most expensive weighted vest!
