The best video about this topic. I think ill buy the green ones. Nowadays there is also a package. It comes with gymnastics rings . I am sure it will be good. Thanks for the help 😊
Thank you for this video, I was about to purchase a fixed weight of 20lb but I wanted to do some research first and I found in a website that the best weight is 10% of your weight, so it just makes sense, because you said that a 12 lb is normally good enough, I weigh around 140lb so I think I'll just buy the fixed of 12lb. Thank you again 😃
Glad I found this video. After getting out the military, I’m looking to get back into some old style workouts but with more caution and injury prevention. I was running for miles with an 85 lbs weight vest for years and my body was not too happy with that
Really like the ru-vid.comUgkxKE8pP77yruPYa7SBcl0a72pDnIHtz0wF because the placement of the weights on the perimeter of the vest makes it easy to use for a variety of activities without the weights interfering with any activities. Had an issue after 6 months when the strap holding the top buckle tore out. I contacted Aduro customer support and they took care of me.
what is the thickness of your wall, drywall to dry wall ? MY wall is 5inch and wonder if the second pullbar will fir . Also my doorway frame thickness is 0.5inch thick, is it wood enugh
I just got a 16 lb one and it fits perfect. I’m a lean 168. It’s not weight adjustable though, but I think because so it fits more snug. Maybe I’ll upgrade to the 20 lb version in 6 months. 25 or more lbs would be overkill unless I plan on only doing pushups in it.
Hi, so I had a pull-up bar that you twist in order to mount it on my doorframe but pushed the sides of the doorframe apart leaving big gaps from the top doorframe part. The doorframe is also not very strong and I don’t want to mount one on a wall. What should I choose?
Trying to do negative pullups on the doorway pullup bar was damaging the wood so I was left with little choice but to get the Rogue Mil pullup station. Love it! Using it with Rogue and Gornation rings, weight vest and dip belt.
@@asdfasdfuhf Jumping up there to begin at the top position put a lot of stress on the bar's two contact points. The foam had also begun to wear out. The wood is probably pretty soft as well. The Rogue Mil Pullup station is amazing though. I have since backed off pullups due to golfer's elbow but have been rowing on the Erg at the gym several times weekly.
The hook around one that you first showed has the advantage for me in that I am 184cm tall. In fact would like to have more height. But really like the hook around because it is much taller. Another thing you did not consider was different hand positions, including wide grip, which are much more difficult.
