Thanks for the follow up on the trigger. I'm a leftie and I think I sometimes get too excited and end up slightly pulling shots to the left (when hunting). I'll work on better trigger control. Those weihrachs sure are beautifully made quality air rifles. I also like the Luxus name.
Thank you for the great comment's. Hunting situations can be tough. One side of my brain is speaking to me while I'm trying to make the shot, saying calm down, breathe easy, hold it steady, squeeze the trigger without jerking the rifle, lol.😆 Then when everything goes right, and you see a bunny do a backflip or a squirrel fall out of the tree, then it's time for a great celebration👍🙂.
😮These and the 97s best rifles, l just sold a TX200 Walnut, they just don't compare to Weihrauch's, my 97 is just soooo accurate with very little recoil, 95s are good, good for people that want a lightweight gun, there just as accurate as the 97 to be honest, good Video.
@@airgunspestingch.8426 BTW, I would love to have a TX200 or Air Arms Pro Sport or both, lol. I have never shot either so I have no idea what they are like but they look super nice.
I appreciate the fact that you call it an air or pellet rifle and use the term pistol. It irks me when people call it a “gun” or worse yet, “weapon”. It shows a total lack of knowledge. And don’t get me started with “bullets” and “clip”!!!
Yes 👍🙂. Most people that have not been in the military 🪖🎖️ have a notion if it shoots it must be a gun. My Dad was a Marine and and I was in the Marine Corps. I was a rifle instructor, helping other Marines qualify their M16A2 rifles. No matter what, it was either a pistol or a rifle. Terminology was extremely important in the Marine Corps. An air rifle could be a weapon, but a very poor choice of one. I agree with you, people sound stupid when they call their air rifle a weapon. It kind of makes them sound like a fanatic. I have other rifles and shotguns but I never refer to them as weapons. I could use them as a weapon but that also would be last resort.
Have a Harsan 95 .22 and in a couple week's hoping to get a Diana 48. Let's see how good it is. Hope it tuns out good. My Hat is shooting pennies and spray can tips off at 45 to 50 feet with iron sites
Thanks for the comparative videos! I'm personally waiting on the Gamo Magnum Swarm Gen 2 to reach our shores but perhaps I should take a look at the Weirach. Sadly they seem priced the same as a mid-range PCP here locally. I have a Hatsan, 2 x Kral and 2 x Artemis PCP. The Artemis are very disappointing as need so many upgrades to make them both more accurate. Their magazines are really poor quality compared to the Turkish rifles and must too invest in getting regulators and power adjuster screws which then in total cost me more than the price of a new Gamo. I'm thinking of selling the 2 x Artemis but can't live with myself knowing how disappointed I am in the rifles. Using the hand pump to fill up the PCP's is a genuine workout and have invested in 2 x Scuba tanks but getting them filled also comes with stupid laws and regulations, here in SA I think they try force extra cash out of you by saying they're due for a Hydro-Test every year! I was under the impression they only need Hydro-Testing every 10 to 15 years. Oh well, perhaps I hit a lucky and can buy my own scuba tank compressor and do re-fills for myself and perhaps others and start a small business that way. Have you shot any PCP rifles and how do you like them compared to your Spring Piston Rifles? I think spring piston for true SHTF moment as you can take your rifle and pellets out with you hassle free and hunt small game. Just FYI, I follow Mark Dice, Liberal Hivemind and Salty Cracker along with TC of Fox News for good measure to see what the trends are your side of the world, my side is run by commies that have destroyed just about everything but lets not go there. Must invest in some cameras and get out to the plots or small holdings where can film and do some shooting outdoors. Stay safe and take care man!
Thank you so much for the great comment's 🙂👍. I have never shot a PCP. The closest I have come is shooting a pumper. I have always thought 💭, I don't know that I want to spend several minutes pumping my rifle so I can shoot it 30 times. I think if you know how to repair a PCP and a good hand pump that a high-powered 30 caliber would be a good go-between that could take down large game if need be in a survival situation.
@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 You're always so good at replying - thank you. I've just taken a look at a local supplier and there is an Umarex Gauntlet 2 in 30cal for just a wee bit more than the Weirach HW97 they have on sale. Even if I go further into debt maybe I should grab it before it's mandatory to get it registered and forced to get a license for it? 🤔🤫
Hey nice video. I enjoy your videos. I have a Gamo Bone collector, I use the Diana one piece scope mount and have hade no issues with my Vortex scope. Hey I was thinking of getting a Diana 350, why don't you like it? 🤔
The RWS 350 N-Tec Classic has killed every last scope that I have put on it. Actually it's the gas piston that I don't like, they are big scope killers and they are very inconsistent in big temperature 🌡️ changes.
Do you prefer the hw 95 or the hw 80? I know their is a little power and weight difference. I want one in .22 cal. to do some hunting and plinking. Thanks for doing these videos.
Thank you Brian. Both are great rifles, but the HW95 Luxus 22 is a little shorter, lighter and easier to carry around than the HW80. I really need to get my 80 scoped and get out hunting before the season is over. My 95 is really my go-to hunter. I have taken quite a few cottontail's 🐇 with it this winter ❄️🌨️🙂👍.
Both nice air rifles. And nice to see them here.👍🏻 I have only (2) pcp's now. But am seriously thinking to buy a Hw again. The hw80 i never had,But the power looks fun. I had the Hw97 kt . One of the most popular here in NL. But lately i look for the 95 as well. Man , Weihrauch makes it difficult to choose. I have powerfull pcp's. So I dont need a 40 joules springer. What will it be? The Hw95luxus looks like a great rifle. I will get the twang out, that I do know.
Thank you. I was in from 89-93 at KMCAS Kaneohe Marine Corps Air Station, Okinawa, Mount Fuji Japan, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The best time that I had was being a rifle instructor, helping other Marines qualify with their M16A2 service rifles. It was a regular set job from 6:00 a.m. to around 2:00-3:00 in the afternoon. This gave me plenty of time to enjoy life and hit the weight room. Before all of that it was being in the field for 3 or 4 days or a week at a time. Standing guard at all awful hours of the night. Forced marches that we called humps. Too many infantry mind games. All of those things I don't miss. My favorite part of the infantry was throwing grenades shooting machine guns, the rifles and pistols. Crawling through the mud, being crazy, lol.
