Friday has arrived , there is silence throughout the house , no radio 2 , no hoover , just me , my faithful hound , a 12 inch French baton overstuffed with bacon , eggs and mushrooms and your weirauch review. This is a biblical moment ! Always been a weirauch fan and this one is no exception , what a rifle And what a shame most of them won't be used. Having worked for most of my life for a German car manufacturer, you wouldn't believe how much engineering and design is involved in everything they do and weirauch follow the same regime I suspect from the performance and style we see here. As a rule things genuinely are Vorsprung durch technic but it took me 10 years to teach my German colleagues that actually the world is . Besser mit einem specksandwich 😂 Dave

I have a Weihrauch HW100 , with the Walnut stock , dream to use, shoots true every time , so very quiet ,best gun I`ve ever owned.

My KT100 is in .20. In over 50 years of using air rifles, there have been a very few that get close to the same accuracy, but none that I can think of that would consistently improve on it. As you said, good enough to deserve a decent scope, and in fact if I want to check how good a scope is, this is my go to rifle!

Hi Andy, You are right. The Pic rail lets it down, it looks like you can get a rail from MDT that clamps onto the Dove Tail. My HW100 is only about 18mts old and the seals failed between the two halves of the receiver below the barrel so I had to send it back to the importers to get repaired in Australia. They are a lovely rifle to use. Please keep the videos coming.

I know @ £1,300 you'd expect a metal picatinny rail but maybe it was plastic because it is a collectors gun and the plastic won't scratch the dovetail when swapped over a few times. Just a thought 😉 PS. Luv mi ach w 100 😂

I used to own an hw 100kt but I eventually sold it. as you showed on the video it's pellet on pellet accurate and that was fine for pest control but made target shooting so boring in my eyes. There was no effort or skill required. I had to go back to an hw97 for the challenge. Great video as usual and happy new year to you and yours😂

Got two of these beauties, both KT's, one in .177 and the other .20. Fantastic rifles, so accurate and reliable, albeit a tad heavy, but that's quality German engineering for you.

I’ve got the standard length HW100 and the plastic picatinney was one of the first things I noticed when unpacking it. I much prefer to mount a scope on picatinney rail as most dovetails are too shallow/insecure. I bought a third party metal mount from Britannia. Take note Weihrauch - you’re spoiling, what is otherwise, a superb package.

I got into the sport last year just target shooting. I loved it so ordered a BSA rifle. Before it came a couple of people said about reliability issues they had so I contacted the shop. The guy said the one he would choose is the weihrauch hw100kt. He said they're brilliantly made and is a great rifle. It was cheaper than the one I'd originally ordered in a pepper stock. When it came on looks it didn't excite me as the BSA did for sure. I liken it to the girl next door attractive and will never let you down. It feels typically german great made there is something that's I wish I had about it but then you shoot it and think it doesn't get much better in terms of performance and I wouldn't change mine for anything else.

HW100S is my favourite. This is a beautiful looking gun but inspite of Andy tempting presentation I will stick to my current on. The smile on Andy face when he was shooting is testament to HW quality.

easily machined and custom made to go with that limited factor the rail that is 😎 love the color and the style of the barrel though perfect match, and if i had one of those it wouldn't even be under the bed as it be used all the time but well looked after as number one 😎

Happy New year Andy, I do feel a nice piece of selected oiled Walnut would have been a better option for a limited edition, along with an all Silver finish. Laminate is so easily damaged & tricky to refinish. Nice review as always thanks

Great review Andy 👍At my local gun shop I handled the weihrauch HW KT 100 really nice Air rifle its brilliant . I Purchase BSA Ultra CLX PRO wilderness instead only 250 are being so fare. same price but you get more for your money the stock is really nice eye catcher the accuracy is amazing well built gun. That would be good if you can do a review on the BSA Ultra CLX PRO wilderness you'll be amazed I've watched a lot of your reviews on a wide selection of guns its very interesting and i know you do like BSA air rifles. Enjoyed the review on the HW KT 100 tonight 😃 All the best for 2024 Brian

What do you mean by getting more for your money ? Shot count ? They both are same perfect accuracy, but the Weihrauch is a little lighter to carry around, unlike the BSA has a flawless magazine and, personal preference, the biathlon style cocking lever is so much easier to handle than the very backward bolt action of the BSA…

Happy new year. I have number 196 in .177. I haven’t had the opportunity to shoot mine yet in the three weeks I have had it. Sunday is the first day I can get to the range. I anticipate mine will get lots of use, mainly bench rest and possibly HFT. Great review as always and I hope that mine is as good as yours, but I suspect that my shooting won’t be.

I recently purchased myself a Weihrauch HT100 KT Laminate in .22 calibre. I will say, it makes shooting easy. It's been paired with the ATN Sight-X 4k Pro and the ATN ABL1000 for the odd pest control in some of the manors and farms around the area. It is an outstanding rifle. But I had the same small complaint on the rail adapter being plastic. My scope isn't light and there was sway introduced due to the adapter being plastic and lacking rigidity. I ended up having to purchase an after market adapter which increased scope height significantly. Thankfully it has the adjustable cheek rest and I have managed to successfully hit a target at 139 yards (Not overly accurate, but it hit!). Great rifle, great review.

Under German TUV safety regs, Weihrauch aren't allowed to. The cylinder must be steel and removable for travel. Several British companies will happily do an aftermarket conversion. Worth pondering why the boring old German engineers don't like the idea of a 'no-name' third party 300 bar aluminium (wrapped with un-specced carbon to hide any damage) cylinder clamped to the front (or rear - just under your eyes!)) of a rifle ;-)

Hi Andy, Thank you for another information packed great review. Like you, I'm a great fan of the BSA R10 and R12 CLX PRO. MY R12 is a favourite of mine. I think its beautiful and fantastically accurate. The Weihrauch isn't as heavy and shorter. It's beautiful though a fair bit less of a shot count. The Weihrauch cocking lever is German engineering and gorgeous, but just the same as BSA's. Both absolutely fantastic. May/dare I ask how do you think the Weihrauch compares to the BSA? It would be great to recieve a reply. However, I realise the amount of messages you recieve and it not be possible to read all of them. I wish you and Mrs AAR a Happy New Year and all the very best with your great, helpful channel. Ps. I absolutely adore the walnut and tiger stripes on my BSA's. Potentially, the laminated stocks can be disappointing close up and not perfect. The walnut stocks are perfect and knee tremblers.

Andy please could you and the team do a video and review featuring the daystate sportsman mk2 i owmed this rifle in the 90s and like an idiot sold it ..i havnt seen a review of this gun in youtube and ive looked ...please review this beautiful blast from the past...my one was in 22 it had a walther barrel was a two pump multi pump finished in walnut stock and brass bolt and trigger..it was absolutely beautiful 👌🏻
