Welcome to an overview of 3D-Coat; a fantastic 3d sculpting, retopology, and texturing painting application. In this tutorial series, I will be going over the basics of 3D-Coat. We'll discuss the basics of the sculpting tools, voxel and surface based workflows, retopology, texturing, and more!
This tutorial series is intended for absolute newcomers to 3D-Coat. I will not be going over every single tool and will gloss over the advanced features.
I hope you enjoy this series and find it useful!

I really like your video, you explain things really well. But you need to move your mic off your table or put a good shock absorber on it. There's a lot of banging on it. Keep 'em coming

"when ever I get to this stage (painting) in the texture editor there are no uvs showing up, just nothing, its a grey canvas with nothing in it, even when I fill the object with color or a material, the editor remains unchanged" yeah this happens to me, too. This tutorial seems to be out of date? It's like the UV map is not actually being applied or transferred to the paint room or something. I can't figure it out. It's beyond frustrating.

When I baked the texture I only got a normal map layer :/

um I got a question, I recently got into 3Dcoat and been following your tutos like my creed! they amazing, but I have a technical problem when ever I get to this stage (painting) in the texture editor there are no uvs showing up, just nothing, its a grey canvas with nothing in it, even when I fill the object with color or a material, the editor remains unchanged :( please help?
