Welcome To Tally Hall is one of the best introduction songs I’ve heard (Even though not really since it’s the third one. Still a crime lol) What really made it special for me is how charming it is with how silly it is with ridiculous rap segments, random accent I’m the vocals and out of placement of instruments like a Sacred Beast-like melody playing while English Chap Joe is rapping. Also the song is just incredibly catchy and the chorus is so Emo fable for me. Even if they are just mechanical robots for a museum, they are playing in a band and they are incredible. They are one great old muppet show to enjoy.

if i had to guess why welcome to tally hall is the third song of the album even though it says welcome is because the first two songs are meant to give you a taste of what they can do. good day is really experimental music about nothing, while greener is a song with that green day style everyone recognizes about relationships. after they're done showing you what they can do, it's time to properly present you to the band members, which is where welcome to tally hall comes in.
