Thank You so much for this wonderful video. Love it. I have become an avid Great Lakes Boat watcher in the last month or so. This video helps get a different perspective of the locks. There's a live camera at Lock #7 which I love watching because you can really see the change in height of the ship in the lock. Thanks again and would love to see more of the Great Lakes.
This is wonderful! It provides a great perspective of the relative dimensions of the locks, that you can't really appreciate from ground level. Thank you so much.
This was really good for the visuals, but where exactly is the Welland Canal? What are it's terminal points? How long is it? Where is each lock located? It's not as well known as the Erie Canal, you know. But, as I said, the visuals are spectacular and you did a really good job on those.
Always wanted a drone, but it seemed everything that was available needed Android and/or a cel phone. Do you have a different setup? Looks like a monitor and a standard flight yokes. Very curious, nice video.
Why does the water level look so low going thru the locks ..? Doesn't look like A row boat could go up and down in some spots ? Is Maint. going on in spots and it is drained some ?
My brother and I used to go and watch them pull cars out every winter when they drained the canal. It is a great place to get rid of stolen or insurance claim cars.
