To hear Geoff's range, check out Voiceplay's "Oogie Boogie's Song" from the movie A Nightmare Before Christmas, Voiceplay's "If I Were A Rich Man/Girl" or Geoff solo doing "Blackbird". You'll probably like Geoff solo doing "16 Tons" for eye candy.

I would add "I See Fire" (Ed Sheeran) by Geoff. Not because it's his newest song (and a very beautiful song by Ed, too!), but also as a showcase for his singing range. It's astounding, how every dwarf (in the video, Hobbit themed) has his own voice/sound and how they harmonize, of course. 👍

If you think Geoff sung high in that small section, try his most recent solo release, "I see fire" from "The Hobbit - The Desolation of Smaug", which BTW is the "sequel" to his other solo release from a couple years ago, "Far over the Misty Mountains cold" from "The Hobbit - An unexpected journey". Same Dwarves (all him, of course), costumes, makeups... 😁 THAT really showcases both his voice and his full RANGE. 🙂 Nice reaction, enjoyed it. 🙂 See you next time!

@@SO-SOReacts "Far over the Misty Mountains cold" is a slow, deep, low voice song that I think you'll love. "I see fire" is something different, yet similar under certain aspects, and it's even better IMHO. Also, while FOTMMC has somehow a "lead" singer, ISF does not... And if it has, it's not the one you'd expect 😁😅. Just subscribed in anticipation... 🙂

Geoff has a 5-octave range, from the last key on a piano to Bb5 above high C.

He can go way lower. Usually the lowest note on a Piano is an A0, Geoff's lowest note is a C0 if i remember correctly, his highest an A5. :)

@@thebassman9065 In Peaches he hit a Bb5. I hadn't heard that he could do a C0. Must be a growl because he uses his subharmonics to get to the C1 and B0. It's an amazing voice. Watched Peter Barber chatting with Geoff who again said he was a low baritone with extension into the bass range. Right. Peter wasn't buying that either and told him so. A discussion on the flavors of bass ensued. It's a new chat and you might find it interesting.

Wait, you've never heard Geoff's solo work???? Oh, man have you been missing out. He's sung high with Voiceplay, my favorite is the Little Mermaid Medley. On his solo channel he sings all four (or five) parts. Subscribed in anticipation of more Voiceplay and Geoff.

It would be interesting to se you reaction to J.D. Sumner, he was an amazing Bass singer. i suggest "The Lonesome Road", "Wayfaring Stranger", or "Just a Little Talk With Jesus". I think you'd like it. Even a reaction to Tim Storm's version of "The Lonesome Road" would be amazing! :)
