You forgot the Mr.Fireman arc written by Alan Moore where George George gets burned alive in a particle accelerator then re-animates himself, realizes his powers keep him from emotionally connecting to humanity, and then he exile’s himself to the surface of the sun and waxes philosophic to nobody. A bold direction with plot points that Moore would use in his future works that weren’t as good.
I always preferred the Mr Fireman The Animated Series which is known for creating Mr Firewoman who just got her own goodcomics series, it's really good.
man i hate the fact they completly killed john warm and made tyrone cold the new hyper hydro. don't get me wrong a black lead is great but making him hyper hydro felt like a greedy move to sell comics. man after the writer and artist change, tyrone feels all over the place and has bad dialouge. luckily dan dinner(old writer) is teaming up with pam fry to making their own indie comics.
MANY OF THESE VITAL PLOT POINTS HAPPEN IN BIG CROSSOVER EVENTS AND WERE DECICDED BY PEOPLE THAT'D NEVER READ OR CARED ABOUT MR.FIREMAN UP UNTIL THIS POINT. THE EDITORS FORCE THE CURRENT WRITERS OF HIS MAIN COMIC TO SUCK IT UP. you'd think the eventual retcons were by said current writers trying to get their own story back on track. yuo would be wrong.
I hate Western comics. It devolved into an echo-chamber, forever scaring new readers. Not to mention the agenda being pushed by modern comics in today's time just further isolates old time readers but new ones as well, worsening it's problems
@@THE_LOG-q5o yeah, that's why I called it an echo-chamber. If you didn't follow a more popular/older seriest from the earlier chapters, you're out of luck in getting into it
