I’m with you man, I’m around 5’5 and I feel so short around my friends at school so Lee is literally my biggest inspiration rn! He makes me feel like I have potential to look amazing even as a short person.
5'5 kid here. Seeing you has legit inspired me to keep grinding on my calisthenics routine despite exams and other setbacks a 19 year old can always expect. Thanks for being a role model for us short baboons.
A motivation that everyone needs. Thanks for sharing! One of the biggest things that has build muscle has been a custom meal plan from Next Level Diet. I use it every week and I love it!
I am not as tall as you Giants at 5”4”, but I do know that achieving your ideal physique is not easy. I used to weigh 115 pounds and range between 15 and 20% body fat and then a couple of years ago I stopped exercising altogether to pursue other priorities related to finding gainful employment (which seem to be incredibly elusive to me) and then this, combined with a health issue that I am trying to overcome made it difficult to even move ... even to get up and get something to eat. I had no one to take care of me and so there were a few rounds of involuntary extended fasting. in fact, my weight dropped to 88 pounds in just a few short months. I was starting to look like someone who had been sent to a concentration camp. It was not a good look. I knew I wasn’t going to get any better by not moving so one day I just made up my mind that I was going to have to force myself to move. I started off by just getting up long enough to read magazines and one day I was reading an old issue of a Rachael Ray magazine and on one of the pages was a small write-up about walking videos (this was an issue from the pandemic times) and that’s when I found this guy Ric who did a bunch of walking videos and then I found other exercise videos as well. I knew I had to start off easy because I had gone without exercise for so long and so I did and ever since then I’ve been getting gradually better. I still have a long way to go, but because of this experience I know the struggle between going without food and then having access to food. It takes a while for your body to calm down and realize the food isn’t going away but beyond that the struggle to build back good eating habits - habits that will build muscle and not just put on weight can be a challenge. But watching this video shows that all you need is a little patience and dedication and commitment and eventually (if you’re serious about it) you can achieve your goals. As always, thank you for inspiring us, Lee!
I'm a 5'4 Korean male with a food addiction that gained a lot of weight during the pandemic. I started tracking my calories and taking my training more seriously a few months ago and I'm pleasantly surprised at the rate of progress I'm making. I'm starting at the age of 26, nearly twice the age you were when you started, but you've been an absolute inspiration and I'm looking forward to the progress I'll make over the coming years. Thanks for putting yourself out there, and best of luck with your channel, competition, and meeting your girlfriend's parents.
Brother I’m so glad I found your channel, a true refreshing take on the bodybuilding ups and downs! I’m 29 now I used to take gym extremely serious around 24-25 and now I’m finding my way back around it and your channel has helped me push through the barrier. Much love!
It’s crazy to see your progress! Don’t know many people that speak this openly to their audience. Your voice is heart warming and you inspire not only me, but also lots of other people, thank you for that and I wish you the best! go get that pro card! ❤️
Loving this video. Finally not just the short reels. Your contents are informative and entertaining. You have a very specific style in making videos, very good on that. Please make more of this longer videos.
Phenomenal storytelling. Blew me away man - seems like you’ve been doing long-form for ages. Love the transformation brotha, both internally and externally. Keep going ✊🏼✊🏼
Your physique is super inspirational to me as a guy whos 6'5 (even tho i know its not realistically achievable 😭). Going from 2000 calories a day to 3300 a day just to gain 1kg a month has been tough but im sticking through and hope to have 1% of what you got in time. Love your positive attitude it brightens my day.
Even though he's stated he's 5 4 his maintenence calories are 3000, probably because he does more cardio now and has put on lots of muscle. Soon you could have insane maintenence calories because of your big stature, and maybe in 5 or 10 years you would be eating 3300 on a cut lol. Keep up the hard work👍
There is something about this video that is very real and relatable, which brings me back to rewatch it again and again, to get some sort of feeling of calm. I appreciate your content❤ man!!
For what it's worth from a stranger on the internet, you have a fantastic physique and you're only going to keep improving! Can't wait to see more from you.
You're a pretty likeable person bro, i would hella be your friend if you were anywhere close to where i live, i've been lifting for 6 years and still going almost every single day. Keep at it bro, you're unironically funny as fuck.
Lee has genuinely such an infectious personality and smile, literally nothing this guy does and posts doesn't get a chuckle/smile/feelsgood moment out of me super pog video love it all.
just sucks that now matter how long i've been training and counting calories, coming up on 2-3 years total now, being 6'4 really kills my ability to look like a hunky jacked anime boy.
I have similar genetics to Lee (though I’m 5’5 YES AN INCH IS A MAJOR DIFFERENCE) and honestly he has my dream physique. Lee definitely has gave me some inspiration when it comes to hypertrophic training
I’d straight up rent an 2 hour long documentary, this content is by far the most inspirational and quality content on the internet! I’m blown away by the story telling.
I love your videos man! I’ve been training for about 15 years and I’ve trained everything. Bodybuilding, powerlifting, CrossFit and Olympic lifting. I can really related to the binge eating stages you’ve mentioned. It’s very relatable and something a lot of fitness people don’t speak on. I’ve transformed my body in so many ways and been through so many ups and downs. I love your story and your vibes and your honesty my favorite to watch. The jokes you make and goofy things you through in really make me feel myself and my friends haha it’s awesome and you’ve inspired my to try to make content! Thank you for being you
Dude, YT’s been suggesting your videos to me and your editing and style of videos is awesome. A real cool combination of aesthetic editing and fitness/nutrition content. Really glad to see you trying some longer form content too
We'll be supporting you! Thanks for all the motivation so far. I'm actually 5'4 too and been training 1 and half years. Still a long way to go in this self improvement journey
Far out! This was such a great video! So good to see how far you've come, how positive you seem to stay throughout, and that you've gone through ups and downs like everyone else. Thanks for the real content and for being so honest and easy to watch 🙌🏼 Keep it up - you're inspiring so many people 😊 (Also, being an Aussie makes everything so much better 🤌🏼)
I'm also a small 5'4 Asian guy and hit that subscribe button so fast. Seeing your progress gives me so much hope because I've never seen another Asian dude of my height make such massive gains.
The quality of the video is really good and considering it's your first long form one is actually crazy. Really excited to see you develop as a content creator
Literally was about to skip the gym today bc I wasnt feeling good this got me motivated again. As a fellow 5’4 man definitely get the grow wider bc we can’t grow taller 🙃 I appreciate all the advice and motivation good luck in your comp brother!
I love your content. You’ve definitely been a big inspiration to me as I’m getting back into fitness after a series of unfortunate events landing me in and out of hospital for a few years. Seeing your shorts helped motive me to get back into boxing and Mauy Thai. Sorry for the rant but needless to say you’ve quickly become my go to fitness influencer for your training advice, recipes, and humor. Keep up the great work you’ve already done amazing can’t wait to see more from you in the future.
Was I the only one that got goosebumps with that winner announcement ending? Anw this was such a great vid and something I needed. I have been feeling burnt out with training lately and also dealing with binge eating disorder at the moment (when I could've swore that I intended to cut last 2 weeks) so thank you for reminding us that we all have our ups and downs (esp when you're a natty). Keep up this amazing content, look forward what you're bringing to us next! Sending much love from Indonesia!
Anxiety really does effect the mental a lot when getting in shape. Even me being in shape now going from 220 to a good 170 lean/skinny looking, having muscle and being able to lift in the 100-120 ranges I still feel self conscious or if a miss a day at the gym I feel like I’m weak or gonna lose the gains from just missing that day(I know it’s dumb to think) and my confidence goes up and down. Some days I feel good with how look and people staring at me, other days I feel all shy and don’t want anyone too look at me. It’s such a weird feeling.
Im 15 now and i started workin out , im 5,6 , weak and ugly as a maggot people like you inspire me so thankyou ❤ and hopefully ill keep going like i plan to i just wants to say thankyou for the inspiration ❤
This is amazing. I may be 5'11 but I'm definitely a skinny guy. I weigh about 130 lbs. Just started to get back into the gym and I feel serious about it this time. Watching this video and seeing how real your journey has been gives me even more motivation to build healthy habits and become a better person.
@@panodius5686 no problem, I'm also 5'11 and still consider myself on the skinny side but have been able to put on 20, 25 pounds or so, currently at 152, we stay striving 💪🏼
@@panodius5686 I'm sure you will 💪🏼 I'll leave you with this cool video I saw the other day with 3 great natural lifters perspective on bulking, it is fairly long but you can watch in in segments, hopefully some advice could help ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h0by6-kHWUM.html
Ngl Im 15 as well and I started training and you been my inspiration since we have the same common thing such as height, and love for working. Thank you 😔🙏🏿
Lee, thank you so much for sharing your story, for allowing yourself to be publicly vulnerable like this. As a 5’0 trans masculine Asian person, some days it’s hard for me to feel like I’m strong enough or making enough progress. Thank you for reminding me that the journey is rarely ever linear, and that all lasting change takes time. You embody what I hope to see more of from Asian men, body builders, and just people in general - genuine vulnerability, compassion toward yourself and the highs and lows in your story, and personal growth of both the physical and mental variety. Thanks for being such a cool dude, can’t wait to see how far you go!
Just want to say that your video showed that I’m truly not alone. I also fell into a binge-eating disorder after my final high school wrestling season and I’m still trying to get back down in my bfp, going up and down the scale. If I gain the slightest pound, I feel as if my life is over, and I erase and restart my weight log. I never felt so mentally drained and unsatisfied. But it’s truly nice to see your gym progress video to gauge where I’m at in my personal training journey and to tell myself that other people have gone through what I’m currently going through. No matter the reason why you made this vid, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
The extreme lack of footage during his first 3 years of lifting is really sus. There is no real way to measure his progress to know if he’s natty or not.
I'm sure you'll awnser it, but you said you'd been going basically 365 days a year, do you have a rest day? I do a 3/1 split, what's yours? As well, what about cardio? Do you just lift? Also, do you get spots of fat during your bulk or is it a gradual bulk that doesn't lose very much definition if any?
I say 365 days but it includes rests and holidays etc. hahaha But i normally rest 1-2 times a week depending on my training split. I dont do any cardio unless im prepping for a competition and we need to start tracking expenditure. So i mainly just lift weights! And the bulk is veeeery gradual. I dont like the feeling and look of getting too bulky. But it being so gradual, it’s hard to notice. But when i do get too uncomfortable, ill run a very short minicut to clean up the physique and then start again ☺️
You CAN do this! I and iknow a lot of other people believe in you, and you have been, and are still a HUGEEEEE inspiration to me. You inspire me to learn more and get closer to fitness and overall bodybuilding!

My man finally released a long video for us to watch while eating. So inspiring ❤
I love your honesty, man. It's inspirational to see your transformation. I'm a 6'4" white dude with pretty good genetics, but throughout my 34 year life, I didn't take good care of my body. I've lost a lot of weight in the last year and have started my own transformation I've recently hit a plateau and have been looking for inspiration. Thank you for the inspiration!
Found your channel recently and it’s very inspirational even for a guy that he’s been training for years, just for the fact that you have a great charisma and bring a fresh energy into your videos, also your story is very relatable to many of us. Keep going man!
out of all 10 min of such inspo shit, one bit sticks out when you said powerlifting training was a slog to get through. this is where im at at the moment, ive been powerlifting for a while only a year after i started to train seriously and i feel like its making me dislike training. at the same time, i want to hit big numbers and i really, really want to increase my strength because i feel so weak in comparison to other lifters in my gym (wellness department). in any case youve inspired me so much that i decided to create my own content and i wish the best for you!!!!!!!
Ayee thanks man, appreciate it 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Yeah i honestly didnt want to get rid of it because i was afraid id lose all my strength! But honestly, it does somewhat translate and you do get stronger still. Like no one is going to question you if youre hack squatting and incline pressing a shit tonne if youve progressively overloaded to that point. And you get the benefit of physique development too 🤣
dude I’m 5’4 and you given me more hope than any other influencer ever has. ❤ you inspired me to start consistently tracking and taking my training to new heights.
Hey Lee! I remember posting a comment on one of your YT shorts at the beginning of the year talking about my New Year's (weightloss) resolution... and guess what? I'm 5'6 and I started off at 145 lbs (about 65 kilos). I'm now 136 lbs and still steadily losing weight. I'm already almost halfway to my goal and still going strong! 💪 (I simply REFUSE to fail another New Year's resolution year after year.) Your calorie tracking tips and the like have really been helpful so far ~ Also I find your videos to be very motivating for me in general, so thank you for that! ❤ And btw I absolutely loved the premiere! Glad I didn't miss it 👍👍👍
Holly that's amazing!! I'm so proud of you, keep it going ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much for joining the premiere to watch it with me, I really appreciate it!! 🥹
Just marked my year 1 in going to the gym consistently, been watching your shorts and videos lately and definitely gives me hope, i personally dont have motivation but my discipline is enough, i hope i can be somewhat more confident and happy in 2 years with my body
Honestly if you can keep it consistent and always make sure to progress with that discipline, then that's all you need! I went through a long period with no motivation but I just went in the mornings, got the job done, and went about my day! 👌🏼
Great video, I appreciate that you’re sharing your vulnerability regarding eating disorders. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re changing people lives everyday!
I really like how this is not one of those progress videos with just text and hardstyle music under it, but instead nice n chilly lofi. Thank you for showing us your journey :)
i just started going to the gym december 2022 (16 years old 5’4 as well 😅) and accidentally came across your channel and i love your content !! you’re such an inspiration to me and you’ve come so far wishing for you the best in everything!! 🤩🤩
Pretty sure Wesley isn't the only one crushing on you my dude. You look gorgeous as hell. I'm 5'4" as well, and you inspire me to keep on grinding hard on my physique.
My older brother start going gym like 5 years ago and he always invite me to go gym but I’m not confident with my 5’3 height thats my reason for not going with him and one time I accidentally watch your short vid, became curious and got inspired. I start making my self better now avoiding bad habit like alcohol and cigar and start going to gym. Thanks king absolutely gigachad 👑 ❤
