Richie Sambora is the back up vocalist and lead guitartist of Bon Jovi. He's an amazing vocalist. I highly suggest you listen to Dead Or Alive. His vocals and guitar on that are top notch. Also he has some great solo songs of his own. Stranger In This Town is a great blues rock song by Richie. Also the songs One Light Burning and Father Time

@richchadwick0626
@richchadwick0626 2 года назад
Dee Hayes, stop the nonsense. By all accounts he has been sober. Look at the music since Richie left. It's awful. Look at the tours: why aren't they doing stadiums in the US? Why is this current tour only 15 shows? Here's the answer (and don't let the JBJ propaganda get in the way here): because they aren't selling anything out anymore. Go to Ticketmaster and you will see how many seats are still available. Bottom line: it isn't Bon Jovi without Richie.
@jp3813
@jp3813 Год назад
@@richchadwick0626 The band's music has been declining for a long time even w/ Richie. Both him & Jon have had solo careers in their primes and it proved which one could still produce hits w/o the other. Amplified by the fact that all but four of Jon's songs as a solo artist were solely written (two albums), while all but three of Richie's songs were co-written (three albums). And let's not forget that Richie didn't co-write the hits Runaway, Living in Sin, Bed of Roses, I Believe, Dry County (great guitar solo though), Always, etc... Fans do miss Richie, but a more significant factor for the live shows is Jon's voice. Decades of being the main singer along w/ aging & smoking has been catching up to him since the late 90s when he had to change his singing style for his 2nd album, and no backup singer can make up for that.

Jon Bon Jovi & Richie Sambora are both in the Songwriters Hall of Fame, along w/ their frequent collaborator Desmond Child. Richie is one of if not my favourite guitarist ever. It was a shame when he left Bon Jovi cause the band IMO have gone down hill since. Jon and Richie co-wrote pretty much all Bon Jovi hits for 30 years. Can I suggest you watch Dry county live in Wembley, to see the ability of the whole band live.
@jp3813
@jp3813 Год назад
Most, not all. For instance, Dry County was solely written by JBJ. But Richie and the rest of the band made it even more epic. Other hits not co-written by Richie include Runaway, Living in Sin, Bed of Roses, I Believe, Always, etc... And of course, there's also their frequent collaborator Desmond Child.

THANK YOU FOR DOING MORE BON JOVI! A lot of reactors seem to pass them by, which makes me so sad. Please do more! I've love this song since I was a little kid in the '80s. My aunt had the New Jersey cassette and I would beg her to play this over and over. Bon Jovi is one of my favorite bands. I'm in my 30s now and I will still jam to them and this song. ❤️

Lead guitarist Ritchie Sambora is echoing Jon's vocals on this, my favorite Bon Jovi song of all time. Ritchie is a superb guitarist and an excellent vocalist on his own. He and Jon collaborated on the band's most successful albums. Unfortunately, he's no longer with the band after many years.

Like many, I’m a lifelong 80’s kid , grew up listening to all these great rock bands- scorpions, dio, Poison, Crue , you name it the list goes on and on but for me , Def Leppard And Bon Jovi were my two favorite - they had it all- the looks, the rocking anthems, the gorgeous power ballads, the harmonies, Melodies, great hooks and riffs and the staying power. So nice to see you both also stating on your reactions how much you love these two bands. Keep rocking guys!

What makes it better is they wrote the song because their spouses were upset with them because they were on tour longer than they said so on the road they all helped write the song

There's a reason why the question Worldwide isn't "Who's A Bon Jovi Fan?" It's "Who Isn't?" They're definitely My GOAT, Jon's a real Sweetheart of a Man and Richie is an Incredible Performer. This is coming from a Lady who Loves ❤ pretty much every type of Music from Classical to Heavy Metal.

I have a serious illness and reactions to the 80's really bring me back to some fantastic memories, honestly, thank you so much from a huge fan in Canada 🤘❤🍁

This song makes you feel the pain he’s feeling and the pain he caused to his girl. Great powerful line: I guess this time you’re really leavin. I heard your suitcase say goodbye. It’s Richie Sambora and he’s a guitar player. He does a great backup for BonJovi in their song Blaze of Glory from the Young Guns Movie

Bon Jovi was one of my first concerts in Mexico, and this song will be in my mind forever, it was the time of lighters, and the entire stadium carried the rhythm of the song just by making the spark of the lighter, with this song in the background and everyone singing, WOWW there was no one who didn't end up crying.

There voices melted together and he is a highly underrated guitarist. Please check out his sola stuff other members have mentioned. You will not be disappointed.
