I also found his channel through Week of Hisako. I wasn't even into fighting games when I found him, but watching his KI videos made me get into the FGC. Good times from such a long time ago.
I really hope this sets the gears in motion for a sequel or a ....crosses finger season 4 and a visual overhaul ( i still want the ultras to have that bit more visual flair)....I still want that Rash stage...in my mind i am seeing a packed background with speeder bikes
The game's engine is too old so like age of empires did with 2, 3 definitive edition. I hope we get graphic update with it or just sequel in general. fun fact, people who still work on Age of empires 2, 3 DE contents(yes these games still gets new contents even this year as well) a lot of them also worked on KI as well.
Guest characters don't deserve priority for new stages when a series veteran like Eyedol still doesn't have one and new playable characters to the cast like Eagle and Mira also don't have stages. Gargos also could use a glow up for Astral Plane.
The universal change that hits hardest is that any ability to let you generate pressure if they broke your combo was removed (Orchid's Panthers on breaker, Sadira's Webs on breaker, etc). So they removed the tools to universally steal back your turn if they broke your combo.
The announcement for this update gave me motivation to boot up this game again. The problem right now is that after the update, this game is constantly freezing and crashing almost every match i'm in! This didn't happen in any of the other seasons, but now the game had crashed on me almost 10 times in this week. I hope this is something that Iron Galaxy can fix soon.
I went ahead and bought this game so I can have access to all the fighters. Man I’m glad I did! This is an amazing fighter!!!! I wished I got it sooner.
For the record I've been Jago since the beginning. I'm hella rusty but I got back into it the beginning of last week. Even made a couple of players rage quit. LOL But it's been fun playing again after all these years. I still miss the days when I went to Super Arcade competing almost every week for the Runback Thursdays.

How does Max keep all this information in his head? Doesnt matter if its MVC2 or KI or Power Rangers Battle for the Grid Max seems to just know all this info like balance changes, combos, viable moves.
Since you were kind of in a rush when rating the costumes for outfit 3, I hope you take another good look at them all and all the color alts. Maybe some context on the design by looking at the 2D artwork and what the artists had to say.
I started KI 2K13 with the anniversary patch. Took me 10 years to finally get in and I’m loving it just the way it is. Glad I missed all the other versions but I hope they never change it again.
I hope they update the models to be the same as the renders, i mean theoretically... these renders come from models... right? This opens the possibility. Would be sick, atleast and make old designs an optional costume.
Mang I haven't been playing this game in a good minute and I hop on and it says I made it to top 32 in March 2017. Then I saw I had 22 stars right off the bat and my mouth dropped like that. I've never made it to top 32 but I did make it to killer.
I got 13 stars when I first booted up Anniversary edition. I already had 1 glitched star and one legit star... so seeing 15 stars next to my gamertag makes me feel like such a fraud
The sequel should've happened years ago, but I guess this was easier to do similar to what Nintendo did for MK8 Deluxe so they won't have to deal with all the licensing issues down the road.

Microsoft/Iron Galaxy made an upsie, saddest part is they promised premium and all content. they released figurine colors and next day patch they removed it. As i steam user i cannot active them there is no activation code for skins either for figurines not exist anymore. I would pay it as dlc but i dont know why studio decide to go this way. That figurine colors just too awesome sadly even you had figurines you cant active it on steam. Figurines are no longer exist also. After playing with shago 10-11 color. Other colors just not good enough. Oh well that colors always going to be bitter sweet memory in my heart.

INCREDIBLE game…the music alone is worth it…the first thing I ever taught myself on guitar was the main theme and the character select riffs…super heavy and super awesome
The updates are a mixed bag. There are some characters that seriously needed to be nerfed such as Rash, but some buffs that are over the top, ie Jago. A DP that does about 1/3 damage?!?! No other fighting game has anything close! Previously, Jago's DP was perfectly fine. Jago was fine, except that he could be zoned to a degree. All he needed was a bit faster walk speed. Again, Fulgore was the most nerfed character. It's like the programmers just can't figure out what Fulgore is supposed to be. For sure Fulgore isn't top 5 anymore. Probably top 10. I agree that the worst nerf was the extra recovery frames after a teleport. That fundamentally changes his offense, which really shouldn't be part of a rebalance. I think they also did a sloppy job on the animation for his medium eye laser. When the laser makes the first contact (whether on block or hit) there is a considerable delay before the next animation. It looks like the game temporarily froze. I just think they did a bad job on the animation. At they end of the day, I'm moving on from KI anyway. I'm getting into SF6 now.
I don't know if I should be happy or disappointed since Kan-Ra did not get touched in this update. He has buggy shit that they should have ironed out at least if he wasn't going to get any buffs.
Huh I main Orchid. I have since Snes KI. I loved her character design (2013 version not so much) and she was always really fast. I like using fast characters in KI.
They need to add the thing they say they were going to add season one stage ultras. They also need to add stages for the characters that don’t have them and ultimates for the characters that don’t have them. There also need to add classic stages like sf5.
@@skatakid117 Cold shoulder is now more negative on block and lost most of its push back. This means you have to use hail to make shoulder safe. He's no longer plus on combo breaker. Instinct puddle punch is now more negative on block and whiff. Ultimately he's still good. Cold shoulder is still good as a fast advancing special on a heavy hitting zoner. Teleport nerfs are whatever cause I almost always used it hail up. I miss being plus on breaker but I get why they changed it.
Devs always make boring changes. The game is dead, just make some wild omega changes in a separate mode. These minor changes won't draw anybody back for more than a day.
I feel like no one will feel to answer me but, I read that the update will merge all existing previous Ki versions into a single one, but at the same time removing the classic KI 1 and 2, that means that if I am new to xbox (and never bought any KI in the past) and want to get a copy of KI today to play with a few friends of mine who already have KI with KI 1 and 2 classic, I will no longer be able to play KI classic with my friends? if this is the case, does KI classic 1 and 2 comes in the definitive edition physical version without download? :( I'm quite sad if nothing can be done, KI classic 1 and 2 are the reason why I want to get a copy of KI, because I have a few friends who play it almost every day
