I think you would be considered an omnivore if you're a person who has characteristics from both categories. I think the carnivore/omnivore/herbivore categorizing makes sense as it relates to all human behavior no matter the gender or place of origin.

Thank you for the video Santi! Would you be interested in making a video about the birth rate in Japan and how it affects the Japanese perspective? Is it something people are very worried about or to people not think about it very much? How do people feel about the initiatives the government has taken so far? I'm curious and I want to know more. I'm sorry if these questions seem rude, but I've learned so much about Japanese culture from your videos, way more than I have in other places.

I've actually heard these terms be used quite a bit. Gonna be interesting. Before I watch the video my prediction is that herbivore is used for men who are usually passive, carnivore for men who are aggressive.

I'm latina and like you can imagine I'd say like 90% of us, both guys and girls and everything in between, are carnivores

Hi Santi, are you talking about 食草系 or 肉食系? I know in Japan the male in 20s are more passive and they prefer being single and not interested in date and hangout with girls , while male in 30s they could be more aggressive ? Girls in Japan are quite aggressive in some ways they are spoiling the Japanese male a lot....

In the USA we say 'soyboy' or 'cuck' short for cuckold. Like carnivore herbivore we say alpha and beta from the animal kingdom, primates and mamals. Some people are saying 'omega male' is a thing but that's not really a nature/animal kingdom thing.

@Heidi Hello Heidi, I've been watching Santi ever since YT threw Asia at me, long ago. He's one of the few people in Japan I subscribe to. I mostly search up historical and travel destinations. I like Santi, because he shares his views on what is often a general Japanese mindset. Having studied psychology, I do find the dating advice videos interesting as well. He has a great deal more he does through his membership options. Also, I've met some absolutely lovely people on here (having been dealing with medical matters, I've not had the pleasure of connecting with many recently). I hope you and yours are well.🤗

Hi Santi san... This makes me think of a kind of cultural variation of categorization like "males leaders and males followers" or "males alphas and betas"... i guess every society has an interpretation. BUT what makes me react in your topic has nothing to see with it... These photographies jeezzz.... WHY??? You tries to contain your reaction but me... i was feeling confused... Why not illustrate this blog with asians people???? Is the whitewashing thing everywhere??? What a pity... The beauty in the world is in the diversity. Does it mean your own identity isn't valued?
