The Philippines isn’t the cause of my hesitation. It’s having to deal with hearing whining expats saying why I couldn’t get ahead in America and not do anything about it. What makes them think they’ll get ahead in the PI ? Yes, they may feel rich in the beginning but, will certainly end up the same way as before arriving without a change in mentality. Don’t just talk. Do something like Steph is people! America is the greatest place to make something of yourself. If you can’t make it there, you won’t make it anywhere.

Medical quality, quality of food, quality of water, power going out periodically, internet going out, and the fact you have to leave the country for a period of time, then come back. It's like stay 2 years and you have to leave for 2 weeks? That's crazy... people urinating in the streets. Every country has its problems, but why pay over 2 thousand dollars to come to a country with the same problems? To pay another 2 grand to live there when you can just save money and stay home? The women used to be worth it, but the internet changed that.
