Thanks for your video. I just got a job last Wednesday, and I'm starting to think about my class theme and refining the classroom management strats that I've tried in my current long term position. My particular district is holding optional curriculum meetings in the summer for higher pay. Long before I was employed, though, I committed to a summer camp that will run all the way up to about 1 week and a weekend to my start day😬. Pray for me🙏

hello and thank you for your content. I received an offer in mid-March and still no official offer letter! It's my first teaching job and I am freaking out. I spoke with the principal and she has been nice and said "it's a process" because it is a new position that was created, but I can't move out until I receive something. Is this normal?

Absolutely, thanks for watching and catching up!! I definitely understand because even though it is a process I had to ask for an official letter as well. I think as long as you accepted the job in email or in writing it should be good. Unfortunately, that sounds similar to what I went through and it’s so weird because the process should be documentation especially when you’re trying to move around and inform other people of your decision so I totally understand 😩
