A lot of people trash on the Ben 10 reboot, but I argue that it's actually better than Alien Force and Ultimate Alien. Is it perfect? No, there's some major issues that I wish were fixed but unfortantaly never were. Is is the same type of reboot like Teen Titans Go and PPG 2016? No.

Exactly. Sara Bellum’s name is literally a play on Cerebellum, a part of the brain. The character was ALWAYS written to be smart and strong. While the mayor was officially in charge, she usually called the shots and made him think it was his idea. She was cool and much more of a feminist icon than any of these y/n style wannabes that Hollywood pushes on us these days

My favorite episode was the one where she fought Sedusa.

Powerpuff girls Z rubbed me the wrong way in the same way that this reboot feels like teen titans GO in powderpuff girl mascot costumes. It was magical girl anime with a powerpuff girl sticker on it. It didn't feel like the powerpuff girls and the effect was twilight zone esque when I watched it. Like a mix of sailor moon and totally spies? And they gave professor utonium a son and the girls aren't sisters? *racks brain and tries to remember why I gave up in it all those years ago* It wasn't bad - it just wasn't powerpuff girls Like it would have been watchable if they hadn't put the slapped the names and general appearances of the characters on all the things when they just kinda weren't those characters any more.

PPG 2016 hating little girls is EXACTLY the energy I get from this Reboot.

These characters got completely flanderized, and are stripped of what makes them good characters.

Blossom was a good leader who made mistakes sometimes. Bubbles was sweet and caring but tough. Buttercup was hardcore and confident but had insecurities. They were actually good characters, but the reboot completely axed them.

Or, as often happens, she just can't do things anymore because she's too big. Saberspark even pointed out in the video how some people can't drink from a cup they're holding or tie their shoes because they can't bend their arms enough with the muscles in the way. Imagine her being able to punch through the crust of the Earth itself to the mantle, but she keeps losing fights because she can't do things like turn her head to see an incoming punch or bend over to pick things up. That idea of hyperspecialization to the point of detriment makes a much more interesting storyline.
