Our case status since December has only stated documents were received.

My case was filed on June 9 2023, now since last month it says "your case is taking longer than expected" hoping there is a way to get it processed.

Also, I would like to go visit my spouse in her country, but I'm afraid that while I'm there that immigration will contact me for information that I can't provide until I return home. Should I stay here until after the petition has processed, or is it all right to go see her?

May I ask if how much would be our budget to hire an attorney for our spouse visa process.. what is the range amount? Your responce means a lot to me.
