I always thought that Mr.Grizzco actually has evil intentions somehow. After you finish the normal story mode, Callie and Marie can be spoken to and will say a lot of different things. One of their statements is your average number of golden eggs collected per work session. After complimenting you Marie says that You have to wonder what Mr. Grizzco does with all these golden eggs. It’s pretty fishy if you ask me.(pun not intended) This makes me wonder if Mr. Grizzco will be the main villain in the eventual Splatoon 3.

My theory: The stage, The Ruins of Arc Polaris, has warning signs of a bear in the area. Interestingly, those signs are in English, thus made before humans went extinct. What if humans attempted to escape the earth with the Arc Polaris, but since the bear was terrorising the area, they caught it. After that, they decided to take it with them, and put it into stasis. But clear from the stage, their escape didn't work out. Many years later, the bear, which became Mr. Grizz, awoke from stasis, and is trying to get the Arc Polaris up and running with the golden eggs.

They are Salmons Mr. Grizz resembles a bear, so... Idk but I always thought he eats them. Maybe there's a bear race we don't know about and he just sells them to their kind as a delicacy since these eggs are hard to get?

Maybe he's trying to turn into goldies into zapfish in order to turn them into energy for the octarians and inklings. As we don't know who Mr. Grizz actually is, it could be plausible that he is the one fueling the war between octarians and inklings. Maybe his story could be explored deeper in Splatoon 3 if there is going to be one.

I have a question. If Lil Judd was a copy of Judd, why did we never see him in Splatoon 1. It didn’t state when Lil Judd was made so he could have been made instantly or was he made at the beginning of Splatoon 2?

yeah im sticking with my original hypothesis that mr grizz eats the golden eggs BUT NOT JUST AS ANY EGGS as _omelettes_ 🤯

One unique thing I find is in the salmonid rush, or " glowflies ", only Goldies and Chums are affected. Snatchers appear, but they only go for the golden eggs. They are basically untrained chum, yet, don't attack.

Maybe the salmonids stole the zapfish eggs and salmon run workers retrieve them.

Vasko I have made a discovery that I would like to share. Inklings do not die when in contact with water. Let me explain. The game has never officially told us that inklings die in contact with water, but instead we are treated to signs of what looks like a squid drowning. Another piece of evidence is the fact that inklings have a drowning animation when they fall in water, instead of just dissolving immediately. And that leads me to another myth: How are inklings splatted? My guess is that they have a device to send them back to spawn whenever they are in danger to get them out. After all, Splatoon takes place thousands of years after humans go extinct. Just thought I would say this and maybe it may inspire you to look into more Splatoon lore and anatomy. (also when I say inkling, it applies to octolings as well)

The people actually playing the game in the footage be like ‘What the hell you doing vasko’ (Insert types of salmon run players)

Just basically the players working with Grizz Co. and some good Octolings to now combat possibly very dangerous Salmonids in very deadly enviorments with a bigger and badder Octavio

Splatoon 3: The inklings have managed to create artificial zapfish thanks to Mr Grizz, and the relationship between Octarians and Inklings has greatly improved as a result. The octarians are allowed to have some of the zapfish to power their tech. However, the salmonids catch wind about these results and begin war on the 2 species. (I just wanted to connect the lore a bit, because all the Splatoon lore is kind of split apart with few links in between. I wanted to include the octo expansion ideas here as well, but I don't know a place for them that would fit into another game)

The thing you mention with the special, I think I know why they have the same specials. In one of the bosses from the hero mode (The third one), it shoots at us a sting ray and Sheldon complains that they stole his idea (At least that's what he says in the spanish version of the game). Since the octarians and the salmons have a deal, they probably just have the technology the octarians copied from Sheldon

ive had this idea that mr. grizz is an ex-agent who failed on a mission where he had to go to either of the salmon run locations, and was recovered afterwards but due to the stress he was exposed at the time when he was trapped with the salmonids, he started the company to have the eggs collected and sells them to the octarians/octolings. i also believe that the genetic tests you mentioned in the video couldve been done by the octarians/octolings, because when we start playing octo expansion, we see that the protagonists of that story float in some kind of murky water, that looks like the stuff in sci-fi movies when clones are held in test tubes. its highly likely that the facility in which the octolings had to undergo tests is the same facility in which theyd test on the eggs. cant wait for your next part! :^)

Isnt it said they're used for technological purposes, or something along those lines? I mean, they're used in Octo Canyon for upgrades, so they may work as a power source of sorts, or maybe the eggs have a consistency akin to steel or anothed similar material.

Oooh, this is very interesting. I’ve theorized about what happens with the golden eggs, but yours was thought through very well and seems a lot more accurate than mine. XD I wonder what Nintendo thinks seeing the theories that fans come up with? 🤔😆

Theory: Mr. Grizz works with Sheldon and produces the specials from the goldie without sheldon knowing. Grizz could have been undercover working for the fishys saying "PORT MAKEREL?" and maybe attracting the most popular fish (ok ill stop with fishyfisher for a while lol) to the octos and squids that have there special and trying to attract other salmons too!

Finally an answer to my questions

Wait if power eggs aren’t fertile and golden eggs only produce special salmons how do the other salmons reproduce? Also if grisco has Goldies working for him how he cannot farm the eggs from them?

i think the uncertain possibility sounds more accurate because why would the salminoids use a golden egg that could hatch into about 10 more golden eggs. it's possible that the ones used to power the machinery are the ones who didn't hatch.

Grizz uses them as a power source for the rocket in splatoon 3

I love the theory of the Goldies being hatched by Mr Grizz for their intelligence.
