I took only one photo of Aloy reclining on the wall in Meridian because my sister was pestering me to hurry so she could go back to playing and I begrudgingly listened to her, not knowing that I would be locked out of Meridian after the Opening Credits and that it would be my only photo in Meridian from my first gameplay. I didn't even think to make sure the city of Meridian was in the shot💔😢. But Aloy told Itamen she would give him a few tips when she comes back, and she told Avad she didn't have "time to imagine holding hands and watching the sunset" because she has to save the world (🤛), "what happens between us, it's not important, at least, not yet" (🧠), and Avad tells her "I look forward to your return" (❤), so after she saves the world in the final game, she will have time and we'll get to see Meridian, probably fully repaired by then!🛕☀️😍
There is a glitch with the Sun-wings that allows you to cross the invisible wall, but pass it, after a hundred meters, a message is displayed indicating that we are moving away from the play area, if despite this we continue, the last save of the game is loaded.
@@Nathaaan30 Well then you're not passing the invisible wall. You can get that message at any part of the edge of the map. That's the message telling you you're about to go out of bounds.
@@AndyGilleandNo, it depends on the locations on the map. At some point the message displayed is « You should turn around, impossible to get in here » or something like that (no mention of the last backup), that’s when you come into contact with the wall and the game physically forces you to turn around (the Sun-Wings turns or stays in place). With the glitch, we can pass through this invisible wall (the wall behaves similarly to the one that surrounds the Zenith base), in this case you can continue to move forward (the game will not physically block you), and the message that says « If you continue, the last backup will be loaded » appears, then if we continue, the game actually reloads the last save. But in some places on the map, the invisible wall and the « warning » area (the one from which we have told us that the last backup will be loaded) are very close, so much that the backup message is displayed even though you have not yet left the map. I don’t know if it’s clear, but I did my best
@@Nathaaan30 My point is you're not actually passing through the wall though if the game forces loading a saved game. It knows you're out of bounds. The first game worked this way too. They expect you to be able to get there. I'm talking about a glitch where the game would have no idea you were out of bounds, allowing you to go past that point.
@@AndyGilleand There is precisely no wall beyond the invisible wall, the only limit is that it is an area that loads the last backup. And I think we won’t have a solution to cross it before the release of the game on PC
It’d be cool if Aloy would go back to the Nora while riding a sunwing, deliver the bad news about Varl, and be annoyed when the tribespeople say Varl became the sunwing haha.
There was one mission in Zero Dawn where at the end, the woman mentions this game. When I started seeing footage for Forbidden West, I thought I was going to be doing more stuff with the two characters from the mission in the 1st game, but they just stand in Meridian and make the comment " tell us about your adventures when you get back."
I also tried this. I always thought that the zone that connects both maps, which appears in the cinematic of Aloy's journey at the beginning of the game, is there. And surely a lot of the map from the first game, but empty, like Mexico in RDR2.
It probably exists on the game map in an out-of-bounds area, similar to Elizabet Sobeck's ranch in HZD. Given how big HZD's actual game map is once you start going outside the map boundaries (there's a lot more map geometry outside the boundaries than inside it), actually populating it wouldn't actually increase the game's install size that much unless you went the extra mile in giving players things to actually do while there.
I kind of thought it an odd choice to not literally returning to Meridian and letting the Sun King know whats going on. I figured the last video segment would be Meridian starting to make preparations for what is to come.
Wouldn't it be cool having a cutscene were Aloy returns to meridian and to the nora land on the back on a sunwing and everyone is shocked about her arrival, exspecially the nora.
I still think Zero Dawn was a much better game than forbidden West..felt like civilisation hadn't moved fwd. The cities in zero dawn were more impressive. The only thing that was visually impressive was the far zenith base, which you didn't really have too much interaction with.
Bro… Forbidden west was much better but the story was fucked. The only real quest i feel like was interesting was Faros Tomb, nothing else. In Zero Dawn every Main quest was awesome.
I agree with you. Aloy abilities felt more grounded and balance in the first game. Humans kills felt quick as it should be, especially if you are shooting them in the head or body with a OP Bow. The story was a 100 better, which is why I still play it. I couldn't really careless about outfits+colors, or face paints. What I loved about the first game was its weapons. Especially the Bows.
You can also get it in the one flying mount quest near the bulwark where you search for the brother or a close one of one of the villagers after you have climbed up all the way you can return to finish the quest and that's where I got the trophy at least
@@tthrhraplayz5651It's just a trophy for uninterruptedly gliding with the shieldwing for 60 seconds. I guess it will show up in your PS4/PS5 trophy menu, if not it definitely will after you have got the achievement
It would be amazing the third game allow you to travel to New locations but go back to the Nora or meridian or banuk. A huge map.... With all old and new things. And a twist, roast is alive or Elizabeth, or they find a way to talk to them as WELL as varl. Never thought a game could be that good
That would be amazing but Its still a big Seller and IP for SONY and in the PS4 & PS5 Charts next to Elden Ring, plus theres a DLC coming next year... so you might not see it for 2 or 3 years yet... but i wish it would, because i Freaking hate aiming on a bloody controller
HZD got its Complete Edition release in December of 2017 and then the PC port came out February of 2020. If that gap of time is of any indication, if HFW gets a Complete Edition by the end of next year, it'll be Spring of 2025 at the earliest.
@@timurkral3781 Not 100GB, but map size is a massive part of the game files. That would probably be 25GB minimum. Also no point bringing back the old map with no new objectives or missions spread out over it to do.
I'd love to see the Carja Sundom and Meridian, the whole of the HZD map in Forbidden West in an expansion DLC. Like if there's a DLC plot where we have to return to Meridian for something and in doing so return to War chef Sona and inform her about Varl and her to be Grandchild. Aside from the running capabilities needed to run the whole map, or even just most of it, remove The Cut, Guerilla Games wouldn't need to design a whole new section of map like they did with The Cut.
I expect if this game ever gets a PC port that someone will develop a mod similar to the one that exists for HZD allowing exploration outside of the map boundaries. And then this might be possible.
@IceCreamJones57: Its Polish not Russian, besides I think Plompell is trying to show us that you cannot go back to Meridian in this game as there is an invisible wall. It being in a non native language to me or yourself doesn't detract from what is being shown.
