I love when you post "what I eat in a day." I wish I could meal prep, however, there is not enough room in my freezer and fridge to do that. Keep the what I eat videos coming! Your food always looks delish!
I love your meal prep videos! The step by step instructions are easy to follow. I really appreciate your “straight to the point” directions. I am meal prepping for one and your videos inspire me to cook rather than choose take out! What a healthier and less expensive option. Thank you!
We are watching our 3 year old grandson and 7 month old granddaughter this weekend. 3 days and nights sounds fun but tiring. I am always amazed how tired we are when the leave. Luckily ours are good sleepers. Your grandkids are adorable. ❤️❤️
I absolutely know what you mean!! Every time they are here for even a day or so, we are whooped when they leave. I think it's just because we're always on the go doing something and playing something with them. And yes, we are very lucky ours are great sleepers too!! Hope you all have a WONDERFUL fun weekend!! I'll be thinking of both of us come Monday!!! LOL
Thank you so much for sharing this....I just happened on your channel this evening.... I'm a LT member and trying to get back on track....I love how you have a pre-breakfast....smart 😊
Hi there! I'm so glad you found me! Thanks so much!! I actually just started doing that this year when I was realizing that coffee on my gut first thing in the morning wasn't making my gut feel the greatest. So, I just try to have something if I'm not hungry enough for my regular breakfast. :)
The grandkids are adorable. The scallops looked so good. I had them once a looonnng time ago at a restaurant and really liked them but wouldn’t have ever dared trying to fix them at home but now I think I can do it!( chest all puffed out and fist in the air) thanks for the inspiration.
LOL!!!! I am a visual person, so you had me cracking up with your description!!! Haha You can do it!! I can't wait to hear how they turn out!! Thanks so much, Sharon. 💕

@Planning Us Healthy yes usually using a white sauce like Alfredo or a garlicky bechamel sauce, seafood of your choice, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. Some recipes add in spinach or broccoli. Lots of variations on pinterest, pretty sure some WW friendly versions too. I want to try one using whole wheat pasta and thin slices of zucchini for half the pasta. I also think a spinach artichoke sauce could be made using cottage cheese whipped in a food processor with an egg and parmesan cheese.
If you don’t mind me asking?? How long have you’ve been on WW and how’s your success with their program? You have awesome meal plans.. New subscriber here..😊
Hi Nyla! And welcome! Thanks so much! So, hang on - this is going to be a long answer. LOL I've been on and off Weight Watchers since as long as I can remember. I lost 93 pounds when I was in my 30s and became a lifetime member. Unfortunately I didn't learn much - it was all about vanity and not about health at that time. So, I ended up gaining my weight back over the years. I dealt with some medical things through the years as well. I recommitted in 2019 and lost about 50 pounds. Then Covid hit and I went through a bad flare with my ulcerative colitis. Unfortunately when I go in a flare, I can't eat a lot of the things that are considered healthy - can't have raw veggies, fruits, high fiber, beans, etc. In 2021/2022, I decided to just kind of see if I could "maintain" my weight and not focus on losing, and I was successful in doing that. I took a small break to learn intuitive eating last summer, but found that just wasn't for me at this point. Now that I'm over 50, my focus is so different. While I still want to lose weight, I try to have my focus be on just eating things to make me healthy and if the scale goes down, great. If I stay the same, I'm okay with that too. For me, it's all about moderation and consistency and really living the program for the long haul and not looking at each week trying to see how much I can tip the scale, but how do I feel inside and out. Sorry that was so long winded, but it's a hard question to answer with just a few words. 😊😊
@@PlanningUsHealthy Congratulations 🎉 You’re truly an inspiration.. Thank you for posting these amazing videos.. I just binge watched a bunch.. And thank you for taking the time to answer.. Success isn’t measured in lbs.. and you’re proof of that…
Thanks so much, Karen! My husband and I don't think they are at all. But we read that some people soak them in milk first to get rid of the fishy taste. We were both like, what fishy taste?? LOL
I'm so glad you found my channel!! :) One thing I recommend is if you're following Weight Watchers, just stick with the points. I share points and calories only because I have some who do Weight Watchers and some who don't, so I try to provide for everyone. But I suggest just following points OR calories.
Thanks so much, Peggy! Yes, if you're on Weight Watchers, all that is included in the app. To determine the points you get, it will ask you questions and based on your age, height, weight, etc., you're assigned a certain amount of daily points and additional weekly points, and then it has the zero point foods list as well.
Hi there! I usually just use cooking spray, or sometimes I'll put a little bit of olive oil in it. And I just heard something about WW taking over a company who sells weight loss drugs. I can't say that I am happy about it. But the way I look at it - I follow the Weight Watchers program because I like the program. I have no intentions of taking weight loss drugs,. So, it's kind of a non-event for me, I guess you could say. I don't work for them. I just use their program. I'd say it's similar to my feelings of Walmart - I disagree with a lot of things Walmart does, but I still shop there. I may have to read into it more to try to understand what WW is thinking and what their reasoning is. My guess is they are a business and are looking to attract people who have interest in weight loss drugs. While I don't agree with weight loss drugs for me, I'm sure there may be others who are encouraged by their personal care physicians for health reasons maybe (?) So, I just try not to make judgment on what other people choose to do. I try to respect all our differences, whether I agree or not. 😉 Like I always say, "you do you". 😊 Sorry for the long answer - LOL - it's really hard to put it into words.
They sure do! My husband was just looking at Logan and shook his head and was like, "he has grown so much - where has the time gone". It flies by!! And we've pretty much had him come to our house every other weekend since he was born and yet it still flies by!!
Yeah, I've never been a fan of fat-free dairy. I tried ff cheese one time and it was almost like rubber to me. But I have gotten used to the ff cottage cheese in recipes - I don't care for it by itself at all. Good Culture cottage cheese is my absolute favorite!
