@@nancymendoza6050 sí lo rompe. Qualquer cosa que comas que te haga subir la insulina (proteína, endulzante, etc) va a romper tu ayuno. Ahora si te comes un pedacito de mantequilla cuando te da hambre, eso está bien porque es pura grasa. No demasiado..como una cucharadita.
Thank you for your great vlogs. I started Keto about 3 weeks ago. I'm an 55y old endurance athlete from Belgium, and started keto primary to become fat adapted and to use fat as fuel. My family was not realy convinced about my choice, so I started on my own and we had to make two different kind of dinner meals every evening. But now my family members are so surprised by the good smelling and good tasting pizza, lasagna, etc I'm making for myself that they started to eat the same meals as I do.... from time-to-time :-) We're making progress :-)
Thanks for what you do. I just started keto the beginning of this year and have used several of your recipes. As for cost, keto is actually cheaper, because you are no longer buying chips and cereal and all of the expensive processed foods. And as a diabetic, I prefer to cook at home and make my own snacks so I can control my blood sugar.
Keto is somewhat cheaper or can be the same with regular food sometimes simply because of the appetite suppresion effect and always satiated. This will be even more true if you're on a caloric deficit, I was eating 1700 cal during my cutting phase (pretty low for a guy but I'm short).. it was a struggle though to even hit 1700, i had to force myself to eat at times
My favorite part of this video is that you mentioned "carrots are ok" I love that you said that because I don't believe "non keto" vegetables are all bad, I mean in moderation. I love how you keep it real!
I loved the parchment idea. You can hold more lettuce and goodies. I never liked one piece of lettuce with little bit of goodies. Why I never thought of this lol.
I did low carb and lost about 25 lbs in 2.5 months. I wasn't anywhere near as clean as you. I'm really wanting to go low carb again and I want to be more clean with it this time. I need your discipline. How did you work that part out?
@@veronicag3129 Sandra Westley just eat protein and veg it’s that simple with cheese and cream cheese to make sauces, don’t go mad with cream your trying to lose the fat on your body, if you eat loads of fat your body will get lazy and use that first.

Now I’m 110 lbs which is my ideal wt since I’m only 5 ft in height… my metabolic syndrome has improved. But my problem is how to do my daily food menu… until I saw your vlog. I loved this idea but it was too messy for me so I wanted to share my alternative recipe! Your wrap inspired my sandwich salad! Everything in your recipe is diced up to salad standards and I used a large mason jar to package. The wettest ingredients go on bottom so the base in my jar was a mix of mayo, mustard and salt and pepper (dressing) then I stacked cheese, ham, pickles, olives, peppers, cheese and finally salad of choice...super yummy sandwich salad and less messy! Enjoy!

I look at good food expense as you are going to pay for it anyway, wither in money or in health/life span. Also eating healthy doesn't have to be expensive. If people properly portion items then it can stretch further and be better for you.
I am enjoyug your channel very much and it is so good to have advice on Keto diets and eating cleanly or low carbs. I am prediabetic and my doctor has pretty much suggested I go low carb as a lifestyle change. So here I am in the 13th day of my low carb life style.

I started following you when I started to looked for low carb recipes. I make the low carb pumpkin pie for my son who is brain inured and just became diabetic. I’ve made the Pizza no carb n he loves it. I’m learning since I’m also diabetic he has lost 25lbs. Thank you so much it has made a big difference in our way eating. 😊
I put my keto pizza, after the cook time, still on the parchment paper, under the broiler for two minutes, and the parchment caught fire! I guess I had the rack up too high…lol🤣

I bought waffle maker to make those cheese "tortillas" snacks you make. And I saw on IG that people were commenting that is was greasy. Those 30 second videos are so fast. So could you do a real full time video here because I tried and I don't know how long you have to let it sit in there for it to become crunchy but mine wouldn't become crunchy either. I haven't eaten iceburg lettuce in 25 years. My husband bought a huge head of red leaf lettuce. The leaves are so HUGE it only took 3 to make the biggest wrap!! I am so hooked on these I bought a roasted turkey breast and thin slice it, add bacon and spme sliced cheese and I literally crave one of these every day!!!! Thank you for sharing this. Love your recipes and you in general. I also love that you actually eat the food we watch you make. A lot of people don’t. No, we can’t taste it but, humans know expressions very well regarding food. I can also see you’re very honest assessing. Also I watched you make your “burrito” and during rolling I realised if you alternated the green side of the lettuce with the white, one end wouldn’t be more open, harder and break than the green side. Just came to me as I watched.

Salmon here in Publix about that size is on special like $23.00. 🤫🥴😳🤔😬🤤😋 I pay for it anyways as I love Salmon. I’m doing intermittent fasting and trying to eat better. A physician recommended I do KETO. Every once in a while I love my salmon with veggies. Thx for sharing wonderful recipes. BTW I looked up the Ultimate electrolytes. I did no find pink lemonade?
I love an unwich, but I'm too impatient & lazy to wrestle with a head of lettuce like that. LOL! Instead, I head to my local Jimmy John's where I can order any of their delicious sandwiches unwiched. I am totally making the salmon & broccolini recipe. That looks amazing!!!
I LOVE avocados on my toasted keto bread with cold sliced turkey and butter (weird but delicious!) but avocados are SO CALORIFIC!! And it’s hard to just eat one lol. Also on toast with egg whites and turkey bacon omg!!

@LowCarbLove Always squeeze the iceberg lettuce before you buy and make sure to get the one that is light and airy. The you get more green leaves. Now, if you take the core of the iceberg lettuce and wack it on the countertop then flip it over you can pull the whole core can be pulled out. Then gently put your thumbs in the center and pull out very gently to loosen the leaves keeping them in tact. Now you can pull the leaves apart without dealing with white core issues. 😀
