Powerlifter here who started with a very weak core and lower back. What worked? Mcgill big three and band pull aparts as part of warm up everyday. Banded suitcase carries with yoga block in between arm and body. Back Extensions. Seated goodmorning. Cable woodchoppers. Cable anti rotation palloff press. Kneeling cable crunches. Little to no pain even on heavy days!

I've been walking around a lake park near where I live with just a 25# weight and I feel the burn like crazy. The total round trip I walk carrying on only one side nonstop is 1.4 miles and then I load on to opposite hand and walk around again. I think it's harder than just going heavy and walking short distance at home . * I do this everyday by the way as a part of getting my steps in for the day.

I'm 63 with a rather weak back.. and I want to try this. My question is.. do you do this every day? No need for rest days?

Great question! Not every day, but you can do this as often as every other. Monday Wednesday Friday works well and gives your body time to recover, adapt, and grow between working days. Best of luck!

Still do it every week or so, I feel fragile if I go more than 2-3 weeks without it
