Just my thoughts about doing business with royal Tiger if you would like to support my channel use one of the links below paypal.me/pools/c/8rf8aLKqVS you can email me at koba49@yahoo.com
Be careful dealing with Royal Tiger. If you have a problem with your purchase, they are impossible to deal with. They ignore all attempts at communication. In my case I paid extra for a "hand select barrel" and the rifle I got was completely shot out, the bullets key-holeing in the target. I found a new old-stock barrel to put on it, all I want from RT is my hand-select fee returned. But, they ignore all attempts at email. Their phone numbers all lead to full voicemail boxes. If you want a weapon from these people, don't pay any "hand select" fees, and if you get a piece of garbage, you will have to just suck it up.
i paid hand select for a rifle from a batch that was advertised as being "very good to excellent" condition. the rifle i got had a huge crack in the stock that had been repaired and a lot of finish loss. they returned my money as soon as i reached out through, but i still lost the shipping cost and transfer fee though.
At 200$ a year ago was too much! I just got one from RTI and was nervous because of the reputation of the company. Mine is amazing, but that doesn't mean anyone else will get the same. Be aware that mine would not let the bolt close completely. After scrubbing the chamber it will close, but will it shoot? haven't shot it but the bore looks perfect.
I've purchased 2 Yugo M48 rifles from them around July and September 2020. One was an actual M48, non matching, all milled parts, all parts serviceable, rust on various parts, worst rust was inside the action left side leading toward the chamber. Considering the gun was made in 1950-52 I expected some rust and pitting. After dissassembly, I soaked all metal parts, barrel and action in mineral spirits overnight. Then I spent three hours rust busting everything. Managed to get all rust removed. Then I plugged the barrel, poured Kroil oil down barrel and let soak overnight. Followed this with bore brush and some steel wool with a cordless drill. Got the barrel back to mirror finish, very light pitting in the grooves, good rifling. Then, I cerakoted everything, and reassembled. Gun is functional, looks good, shoots good also. Mounted a Leopuld 3x9 on a NDT YUGO M48 scope mount from BadAce Tactical. I'm ringing steel plates at 200 yards using low pressure rounds. Will try high pressure rounds soon. Second M48 was a M48A, the the stamped trigger guard. Rifle had a lot less rust than the first, non matching parts, and the claw extractor, firing pin were broken. Also, the head of the screw of the bolt release was broken off. Luckily, the screw has a non threaded shank that extends into the stock, so after removing the stock, was able to grab the bottom of the screw and unthread it. Placed order for parts on Numrich, awaiting arrival. Put second rifle through same treatment as first. Cleans up nice, barrel looks about same as first gun. Awaiting to cerakote, then will reassemble and shoot. For a 70 year old gun, it's about what I expect. As for price, 349.99 plus shipping and transfer fee, it's right at $400.00. For me, it was worth it, but I like cleaning and restoring guns. Someone else may not feel the same.
Be very careful if you want to buy a MAS 49/56 from RTI. The exterior was beautiful, the interior was JUNK. Could not find any rifling in the bore. Very $$$ wall hanger.
Once, they sold a Mauser 98 to some youngster and the kid was happy, the rifle looks superb until he checked the inside of the barrel it was all corroded and the rifle shot sideways. $800, that young man lost that day. No refund
I started my collection very late in the game, I'm in my later 20's, and got most of my milsurps for good deals before 2012. Glad I got to experience the milsurp market as it were before the buy up scare. However, I didn't go after parts kits (particularly AKM kits) until this year, and I picked up three fully matching Romanian PM63 parts kits and I'm pretty happy with my purchase. NO SUCH THING AS TOO MANY PARTS KITS! For the prices, from my perspective, I think I did pretty good. Now for many of you have picked up AKM parts kits 20 years ago and paid $100 or less for them back then. Well, I'm a younger generation firearms enthusiast, and I'm just glad to be able to pick up stuff for what I think it reasonable price for my meager wages. If it's fair for me, that's all that matters to me. Would I love to pay prices from back then, but we are living in the NOW, and those prices aren't ever coming back. In 20 years time, Romanian PM63 parts kits might run for $600-800 then. Happy collecting guys and gals!
I spent well over a $1000 at the beginning of December for a German K98 mauser and I went for over a month without hearing anything about it. Finally I called and was told that I had not paid when I said I had I was put on hold for 30 minutes and was then told they had found my money order. They said they would send it ASAP. ASAP must be over a month in RTI time because two weeks later I called and was told my K98 was in warehouse 10 and it would be shipped ASAP. A week and a half later I was put on hold for four rounds of "I did it my way" just to be told they would call me right back when they found it... that was 6 hours ago and I've heard nothing. My guess is they're selling guns they don't have.
Paid $1,800 plus for a restored Winchester M1 carbine for 6 weeks ago. CAN NOT GET AHOLD OF THEM SINCE and today is 7-9-21. E-mails not answered, phone calls not answered, NOTHING. GETTING VERY SUSPICIOUS. May bring in the law.
I don't believe that's what the guy is expecting. He was expecting RTI's descriptions to be accurate which apparently he feels they were not. That seems to be a re-occurring theme with some of the buyer's videos I've seen here on YT. As far as only paying 250$ for those guns, Carcanos as a whole have never brought much money or been very collectible with few notable exceptions, kind of like Turkish mausers.
Oddly enough I have a video I’m putting together with some thoughts on the Ethiopian cache overall as well... (and discussing another specific purchase from RTI). I’ve come to similar conclusions in some regards.
This is really very good. I had sort of realized this is what RTI was doing to sell units and keep the price up. I watch the auction sites for "going rate" prices and I've bought from RTI using that as a dollar benchmark. But it is buyer beware.
@@marckcarbonelloifveteran410 You would get a 300$ rifle. Stuart wanted a 1,000$ rifle and that's what he got and is happy with it. The days of bargain bins of like new/ lightly used military surplus are over and have been for over 20 years. The internet just drove up the price even more since the whole world can buy from their house instead of having to actually look for them.
Got a Yugo M48 from them and it was a hunk of shit, stock was so dark and beat up and bore was so bad might as well of been a musket, wanted to get a Carcano too, but was very hesitant after that, but I'm glad I waited saw a video from another you tuber about the ones from budds, took the chance and was quite happy with the gun I got
The Enfield I got from RTI was unshootable and had no rifling. I regret it and learned my lesson. I also got a carcano from Bud's and I do believe it's from a separate batch as it seems to be in much nicer shape than that from the etheopia batch.
My TS Carcano from Buds was actually not bad. Buds customer service was great. The wood on my Carcano was ok the bore was ok for the money I paid it is what it is!
I've done a little bit of business with RTI over the last few years. Got a M44 for a good price back in the day. Post war with no varnish on the stock. Satisfied. Got a Chinese type 56 broken stock for a good price shortly after. Satisfied. Recently ordered a bayonet for a M1. Was willing to pay the premium for Pal. Said it was in stock. Super stoked. They called me later said sorry sold out so I got a UFH for $10 cheaper. Happy with what I got but not sure I would have made the order if Pal wasn't available. They have since sent another email claiming to have Pal bayonets. I ignored and deleted.
Why isnt your 7.35 carcano safe to shoot? I have read before that the milsurp 7.35 isn't safe because of the powder they loaded it with would get more potent over time.
I think I got a decent Carcano M91 (1895) from RTI, but the price was too much. Antique, about $500 when all said and done. I figured it was a bit much, but I wanted something shipped to my door and something antique. The rifle arrived and there are some small cracks in the stock, a few other cracks or dings but nothing that made me upset/crazy. Light rust on areas too and the cleaning rod was missing. The biggest wood issue is a crack around the area of the internal magazine I am currently having inspected/repaired. There were some messed up screws, but I dissembled the gun and made two other discoveries. First, the extractor was snapped in two and therefore useless. Secondly the internal magazine spring had lost enough tension that if I loaded the rifle, it would probably have failed to feed the last two rounds. I haven't looked at the rifling since I cleaned it, but my memory of it is that it looked okay/didn't send me screaming or anything. Am I ready to go to war over the rifle? No, sure I'm annoyed with the cost, broken parts, and missing cleaning rod, but as a whole it arrived in Fair condition and now after cleaning and replacing parts with original pieces I'd wager that it's now in Fair-Good condition (so some improvement). Do I intend on buying more from them though? No, not unless I can't find what I want somewhere else.
Have had nothing but bad experiences with royal tiger imports. Most recently ordered an 2 AK parts kit, waited for 1 month for them to ship only to find out I had been refunded for one of them because it was "out of stock". They had 10 listed in stock at the time of purchase, I will never do business with them again.
All this stuff is why I'll drive the 4-6 hours if need be to a gun show or auction and get my hands on the actual gun I intend to purchase. They can say whatever they want in a brochure or online ad, but there's no fooling you when it's in your hands and you can examine it thoroughly. I lucked out and found a Long Branch Enfield No.4 Mk1* in really good condition. Sadly sporterized fore end of stock, sights removed, drilled and tapped for a scope mount (it was Bubba'ed), but the rifling is like new, barrel matched receiver, bolt cycles like a $3,000 rifle, and they only wanted $200. Bought it on the spot. Ordered a milled rear sight and new front sight. Thing shoots exceptionally well, so well in fact I don't even care that it was Bubba'ed. But, I know depending on where you live, or your personal life, doing gun shop crawls and driving hundreds of miles to a gun show or auction may not be practical. I just hope people stay their excitement and be smart about their online purchases.
Then you don’t have a Long Branch No 1 mk4 🤣 you bought a sporterized piece of crap that is essentially worthless as far as any collectors value goes. Congratulations you just played yourself.
Mr. Koba, the clips for the Carcano rifles are expensive and hard to find. Have you ever thought about machining and selling a 1-shot drop-in adapter that would lock in the receiver and take the place of the clip?
My gun from buds isnt bad the cartouche is soft. The bore passes the bullet test. It's in pretty good condition. I'm actually cleaning my rifle up as I'm watching this video. Mine is imported by PW Arms.
I have seen some photos of what people are getting from buds, and Palmetto state, they do look very good, and I am finding out that they are coming out of Italy that I did not believe at first , but does look like it.
Oh of course. The videos they “demonetize” are the ones they put all the adds on. Now they don’t have to share with the video maker. Gun RU-vid is a huge money maker for RU-vid for the fact they found a way to not share the add revenue with the video maker. Sad.
@TheKoba49 interesting observations. The market will decide pricing and if you don't get what you expect, I encourage all to make noise with Royal Tiger Imports. My RTI experience has been miss, follow-up, follow-up, follow-up (+more) and finally a satisfactory hit - honestly a lot of effort to get a decent hand select Enfield. Its been long enough so I've ordered again today. Unsatisfied with RTI? Have you reached out to Uli? He will respond. Have you called Buds, DK, etc for more info on their Carcanos? I like your channel but I don't follow it really close. Would you link to follow-up videos on the DK, R&G, Gander, KYGun Carcano reviews or note it in the title? I ordered from KYGun and soon Gander. I believe photos revealed these are PW Arms imports.
I ordered my M91 from Bud's and it cleaned up nice. It has a good bore, matching number, cleaning rods, and still has most of the bluing. I think I got my money's worth.
It's 2024. My experience, 4 purchases in, has been good. 2 more on the way.. 1 Carcano Cavalry Carbine came without the promised clip. I emailed RTI and they answered in under 24 hours and mailed me 2 clips that I received within a week. Seems they're working on the bad reputation that has been on their backs.
Bought a mannlicher m95 carbine the gun cosmetically looks good to fair everything works well except the bore is trashed. Overall I wanted to try this company out and wanted to pay for something to find out.
Seen now two Yugo K98k sold to Ethiopia, where upon firing strange things happen, heavily pierced primers. Very hard to extract-eject the empty. This most likely is a heavily worn firing pin at the rear part that is married to the cocking piece. Means needs a new firing pin.
I have spent 15,000 over the last 3 years on their website on collector items. M1 Garand, M1 Carbine, M17, Luger, BAR, Thompson parts kits. They were all way rougher than what they pictured and advertised on the inside and plastic or wooden parts. They throw sales randomly and I never purchased anything on a sale unfortunately. There is a lot of stuff that is well over priced for the quality. Over the years it wont matter to me but currently I think I paid 10-30% over price on every item I have purchased. In the long run on the way prices are rising. I would say I am buying a 1-3years ahead in value. But in the 40-50 year time horizon and generational time horizon. It means nothing to me.
I ordered a Carcano rifle from RTI and it only took three days. So I guess their feeding frenzy is slowing down. It used to take three weeks. And like you said they had like less then ten M1 carbines left now surprisingly they now have 23 yes they are scamming us. My two K98s sucked but the M1 carbine was much better then expected think they screwed up.
I remember back in the day when they assembled AKs and they were horrible. They made Century Arms look good and this was back when Century Arms sold low quality AKs.
Only thing I've bought from RTI is an M16A1 parts kit. Was under 300 dollars. A great gun built from it. The prices on the 223 stuff is just a little much for me. I MISS THE EARLY 2000S PRICES SO MUCH, LOL. Thank God I bought my stuff 96 to 2010 for the most part. Century, SOG, J & G Sales, etc....
I inquired to RTI about what constituted "New Unissued" for their M1 Carbine inventory. "Uli" responded to my inquiry kind of rudely that it was the weekend after initialing offering to send me pics as examples. A few days later, I received the pics and if they represented an example of what they were asking a premium for @ $1,700, my recommendation is to do the same as I did. Walk away. I also saw pics of one bought by a friend of my brother's which had a huge crack in the stock and, again, looked liked a badly beaten up example. Sorry, for that same $1,700, Miltech has great customer service and will not send this kind of garbage out and a few months wait is a small price to pay for quality.
I recently skimmed their website. They got a shipment of Hakim rifles. Which is something I've wanted for awhile and compared to other places its relatively cheap at 700 bucks. read the description where they give the regular spiel maybe crack stock pieces etc. However when I read the review comments. One of them said "everything was there EXCEPT the Firing pin." Thats a glaring critical missing piece and its just like what the hell? I can't imagine why in good conscious they wouldn't have checked for that. Either way the fact you can't see individual examples instead of this crab shoot model is beyond silly to me. I don't understand why they can't have people go in see whats there and pay maybe an extra 50 bucks to individual select said rifle. Instead of potentially screwing people with random junk or maybe decent level hardware.
I got one of their carcano calvary carbine. It's a bit rough, but felt it wasn't too over priced in today's market. Jg sales has them for $250. RTI was $200...$159 for fair condition rifles....
I have done business with this company and my last purchase wae of a No.5 MK 1 Jumble carbine. The rifle arrived in good shape with good packaging and no delivery damage. The company made a point that these rare carbines were less than perfect. I decided to pull the trigger since I had seen one in my hi school days and thought they were so cool. So I ordered one immediately. The come in at a condition that was well above what I expected but the bolt was incorrect as the rifle had had a special lightweight bolt designed for this rifle and a standard bolt would seriously reduce it's value. Short story : Tigers replaced the bolt with the correct bolt, no problem. Great customer support! Thanks Pay a luttle more and get better...
I bought a few rifles from them. I tried to get the "good bore" for all of them. only the carcano rifle had the option. I really wanted some of these ww1 era firearms and nobody else had them. Im just praying that the bores are somewhat ok. I dont mind a lil wear and tear or a missing part that i can get for 20$. but some of them are pretty bad. If the bore is so bad that its not safe to shoot i believe they do offer to return it as the listing does say working condition. but im kind of just praying none of them are that bad. I tried to make it seem like i would buy again if theyre not horrible. I hope they saved the best for last cuz they dont have many left! only 4 german k98s and like 7-9 gew98s left! please wish me luck lol.
tried for the m1 carbine, ordered it - but they never fulfilled, they just sat on it - and the price went up 200 bucks from the time i ordered. after asking about the order a couple of times i stopped getting a response- you get the idea they just wanted you to go away; so they can sell it for a higher price. just gave up after a while.
The Ethiopian Carcano from RTI is $199.00 Each but they wanted to charge me like $39 shipping. I ended up buying the Carcano 6.5 x 52 from Buds Guns at $249 because the have Free shippping. The rifle's from Bud's are in better shape so I am glad I got the rifle from them, just waiting for it to arrive
I purchased a carcano from Palmetto Armory and id bet its from RTI as well said it was functional but mine was not Palmetto said tuff when i complained
I'll put it like this. The days of 200 dollar jungle carbines, 50 dollar Sks and Mosins ARE gone. With that said, I don't care what the price is, I won't do business with companies who lie about description and inventory. I also won't do business with companies that intentionally sell unusable junk to people. I will also say that people have gotten used to the speed of an Amazon order. Buying a surplus rifle usually does take over a month or two. With all of that said. I don't do business with RTI or Classic arms... Ya'll Take Care and be safe, John
I'm not a collector, just buy what I want. I got a Carcano M91 and Jungle Carbine. So far, I'm happy with my purchases. Just wish they sold reasonably priced 6.5 Carcano ammo.
Don't buy anything from royal tiger imports. I am still waiting for stuff I ordered back in May and its October now. Every time I call they keep me running around
You're putting it lightly at triple profit. I know this comment is a year later but their M1 carbines they are selling now are over 2,000$ now. They are highly overpriced to put it mildly for collectors but just right for that middle aged man who knows nothing about the Milsurp gun market but has the extra cash to throw around that increases the prices for everyone.
Being as though this video is 2 years old it still doesn't matter. Royal tiger is a junkyard. Everything they show in their books are the complete best of the best and pick stuff or simply false advertising pieces. Stuff that they acquired elsewhere to represent what they'll be selling. I have rarely seen anything of theirs that I would consider good used. Most of it is extremely poor quality trash. Please don't throw your money away it's not a crap shoot with them it's a junk sale
I've kinda given up on WW2 era stuff aside from select examples. I've been sticking to combloc and some pre-1900 antiques, much easier on the wallet. Aside from the Ethiopian imports, anything else sold primarily comes from a bankrupt company like Springfield Sporters or some other warehouse stateside. We just don't bring shit in anymore and its nowhere near as profitable to do so as it was in the 80s and 90s, those are just the times we live in.
I agree 100% with what you say. I will add that I feel the M1 Carbines are way over priced. FTI is selling a basic M1 Carbine for $1,200+ .And everyone knows they did not pay nowhere near that to include purchase, shipping and customs. And people who pay those prices are keeping the prices high.. Also there is no way a Carcano should be near $300 a copy, Enfields should not be at the prices they are asking.same with the K98's. That also goes for the CMP also. These companies know people are will pay $1,000+ so they jack them up for a big profit.Again that you for the video.
I bought a Carcano M38 short rifle from Royal Tiger and as I'm still working through the issues with the gun I don't have a final opinion on this particular transaction yet, but I'd say that in general, your comments about Royal Tiger products and practices are pretty much on target. I would summarize my experience by saying that 1) the gun you receive will not look like the gun in the website photo, 2) the gun you receive will be at least one full NRA condition grade level below the advertised grade, and 3) you will overpay for what you get. So I'd suggest you're better off not buying from them with the single exception being if they have something you absolutely cannot find anywhere else and you understand and are willing to live with caveats 1 - 3.
I gambled and purchased the M1 carbines from them - one of their 5% off sale. Since I cannot find one under 950, anywhere, even online (with C&R qualifications), I took a chance on this. Wrote a little note and comment in the order section - thanking them and being courteous. I ended up getting an "Underwood" receiver and barrel - not crossed out. Serial is in the 1944 - 45 range, with a good bore (definitely has some usage) but still has a proper crown. I guess it's hit or miss.
I ordered a steyr m95 short rifle from RTI July 15 and it’s been almost 3 weeks and it hasn’t even shipped yet, I am hoping it’s a very good conditioned one I’m planning on doing a review video on it.
I ordered the two carcanos the week they were on vacation, they came back 7/24 I think, my order went out the Friday of that week, and I got it the following Monday.
I ordered a Gras Artillery Carbine on July 9th and its still processing. I think they want a bunch of orders to come in before they send out the junk and get bad reviews. Ive screenshot a few very bad reviews they took down on the 38 Carcanos
In the past my experience has been that the large importers would bring in a batch of weapons then they would keep the best/highest profit 50% of the cashe to sell themselves. They would then sell the rest to their competing importers and the wholesalers. This way none of them would run out of stock to sell and it would allow the importer to recoup the cost of the weapons in less than 6 months.
@@dodsonarmsco Oh yes, gun importers and distributors usually don't sell and distribute their guns to others to sell to the end customers at all do they? That's why you can't buy the same model firearm in multiple stores across the country can you and everyone has to go to just one spot to get them don't they? I think you need to read the definition of distribute. If distributors don't distribute their wares to multiple other sellers then why are they called distributors?
@@jackbarnes9728 you obviously missed the point and came on with attitude. The point is some distribute to the compatition some do not, some sell direct.
@@dodsonarmsco Either way ALL distributors spread there wares around to numerous buyers and vendors. That's why they are called distributors. In the case of guns, if you are the sole importer of a large order, which is common, there is no competition since they are the only ones who imported the gun, even if they themselves are selling the gun as well as the entity that they sold the same gun to. I shouldn't have to explain this or you are too young to have enough experience in the firearms business. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you don't even have your FFL.
Only problem is that most of the guns Royal Tiger Import sells are wall hangers at best and if you want an actual shooter you have to pay all their "extra fees" for bore select/hand select to get an actual rifle capable of hitting a target at 25 yards. Basically pay 50% more if you want to hit a target or otherwise get a gun that is non shootable unless you pay extra. Not to mention that Royal Tiger Imports want more money for pre-WW2 corrosive ammunition than you would have to pay for brand new non-corrosive ammunition. At no time should someone pay more money for military surplus corrosive ammunition than brand new non corrosive ammunition. Military surplus is never suppose to be more expensive than new firearms or ammunition otherwise there is absolutely ZERO reason to buy it. That is the whole reason that military surplus guns and ammunition ever became a thing because it was cheaper than buying brand new guns and ammo. Now that Royal Tiger Imports charge more for 70-120 year old non shooter junk there is no reason to buy it. Because if you are an actual collector you care about getting a weapon in great shape rather than pay several hundred dollars for what amounts to an antique boat paddle like most of the guns Royal Tiger Import sells.
I think the problem is that with Milsurp drying up and alot of countries saying they wont sell old military gear anymore out of fear of it ending up with terrorists. Couple that up with more people coming into the surplus community that dont have anyone to help them makes a ripe opportunity for selling to uninformed people which can make them alot of money. Classic forearms will oversell you a product cause they are the largest brick on mortar store that specializes in milsurp and collectables. They are Very convenient for the uninformed to make a first purchase. Royal tiger sells “Collectables” like alot of them claim but royal tiger takes that one step further and will sell you nonfunctional piece of junk at a premium. They are like playing slots...and like slots the house always wins. Can’t speak about the rest as I haven’t done business with them.
@@douglassorren9798 buds and centerfire are good although centerfire is literally run by like 4-8 people in a warehouse so I cant imagine customer service reps are avalible to talk about there inventory.
J&G, offers individual views of guns that can be sold most of the time unless they have a big purchase. Classic is good in my book, my beretta 86 from them is in great condition, although I managed to hit it off with one of their people on reddit that made sure I got a good looking one. You take a chance buying anything online period.
The pictures posted by RTI tells it all. These guns were badly kept, exposed to heat and humidity not to mention dust and dirt. From the pics they appear to have been heavily used and not prepared for storage just thrown in large piles. In my opinion they are mostly over priced junk. I have been collecting for over 40 years, and have learned that half the fun is the hunt, save your hard earned money and take your time hunting and you will find what your looking for....
That's almost half an hour just to say "Buyer Beware". The companies that you mention don't have a morally respectable sales strategy, this is obvious. But it's a good one because it works and apparently it's legal. It works because it plays on our innermost desire to get something good, for as little as possible. You actually already knew this (you had the information) and yet you still bought from them. That's just how good it is. Who in their right mind would buy something without actually seeing it first? Would you buy a second hand car without actually seeing it?
Unless you specifically want one of the oddball variations of something they have for a collection the majority of it is rubbish, if it was on a table at a gunshow, unless it was going for $100 a pop you would walk past it all day long. Flogged out No4's, busted K98's, rooted Carcano's are worth sweet fuck all when they barely function and shoot key holes. The only half decent guns were the M1 carbines and even then, they were nowhere near being cheap.
It is a roll of the dice. A potentially $2000 dollar gun that is a part of history, that was beat to Hell in Ethiopia for $500 on sale in good to excellent condition? You do the math. I have bought four so far, three Carcano's, and one MAS 49/56. I got what I paid for. I know how to restore old guns. I buy guns that have indestructible parts that have stood the test and abuse of time. The important parts are all there. That MAS, I was worried about the bore, and am still trying to rectify that situation. LOL!
You're better off cruising pawn shops for an M1 carbine or a gun show on a Sunday afternoon when people are fixing to pack up and leave. I have my C&R license to buy these old guns but my best deals have always came from pawn shops, Facebook marketplace, private individuals, etc. Not saying buying from these gun websites are bad but they know what the market is and what the upper limit of what people will pay.
They don't allow returns, only exchanges. I'm sure that is because they knew they were selling crap. I'm sure that is also why they sold a bunch to Classic... they knew how much these stunk and figured they could offload a bunch early on before all the bad press started rolling in and left them holding the entire bag. Now, the bag they get stuck with is slightly less, and they made a few bucks off Classic.
@@Mike-tw1pi just watched another vid where they sold a Enfield with a smoothbore barrel and the buyer had to replace the barrel. in the end he had 800$ in it. also their prices are a joke.
@@narcissistinjurygiver2932 Yup. Mine was almost as bad as his. I did the same thing he did and got it rebarreled with a NOS RFI barrel. Ended up with a great shooter but paid about twice as much once it was all done. Royal Tiger is selling stuff anyone else would call a gunsmith special, except they are charging normal shooter-grade prices.
My dad just received a really nice Carcano from Palmetto State Armory for 250 bucks. I have one on order from Bud's for the same price and I believe it came from the same batch. The rifles Palmetto and Buds have did NOT come from Africa and seem to be in much better shape. (yes I know they are different models/calibers than the ones you showed) RTI made a killing on this deal. They overstated condition and sold a bunch of shot-out junk with a few gems mixed in and they weren't cheap....but they were priced good enough to make people buy them I guess. I am glad I passed although there were a couple times I had items in my cart and was about to order....
Just remember these items came out of Africa. That is not an area of the world known to take care of equipment. They have all been well used and abused.
7.5 minutes in, hit the 3rd advertisement. Nope, not wasting my time. I don't know how ads are implemented on RU-vid, or who makes those decisions. But, I've watched a whole bunch of other half hour plus vids, with 1/4 the ads. Not sticking around for the rest.
