Recently, I've been trying to finish reading the book I'm on before the end of the month so I can start the next month with these book recommendations so I really look forward to these videos! This month I have exactly £0 for new books and exams so no time to read so that's not great ... I still love these videos though, talking about and being around books is just really calming for me!
I recently read Hidden Figures so those brilliant mathematicians are currently living in my subconscious at the moment. I also wanted to say how much I enjoy your calm and measured RU-vid reviews and videos in general. Always a treat to see a new video from you in my feed :) xx
i love these videos they always calm me down. i love finding about new books you've been enjoying and just listening to you talk. it might sound weird but your voice is so calming :))
I just finished A Mercy by Toni Morrison for class which was of course brilliant. And I also just finished The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry which was super sweet and lovely with lots of nerdy references and was also super easy to fly through
Hello! I'm Humberto, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and just got in contact with your chanel. Loving it! The hate U Give is def on my wishlist for next month!! See ya!
I'm reading A Civil Campaign, the ... twelfth? book in a series that I've been reading for months (The Vorkosigan Saga, very compelling sci-fi). I'm also reading Jo Walton's series of alternate-history, fascist-Britain-in-the-fifties, murder mysteries (the first one is called Farthing)
Thanks Candice for your video reviews. Unfortunately I won't be reading those now, perhaps later in the year. I need some space from the other books I recently finished. I won't be missing any of your videos though. Thanks.
I hadn't heard of Final Girls and I haven't read a thriller in a while either, so I need to go do some research on it. I think it will be great to read getting into spring/summer too.
Wonderful video as always! I haven't commented before, but I'd just like to say thanks for promoting reading and sharing all of the other wonderfully creative things you do
Great video, I keep hearing about "the hate you give" definitely going to pick it up when its out :) I'm currently reading traitor to the throne by alwyn hamilton
I'm currently reading Evelina by Fanny Burney and I just finished Villette by Charlotte Bronte, I'm on a gap year so trying to catch up on classics I haven't read yet
my favourite books i've read this year have to be rebel of the sands by alwyn hamilton, the secret of nightingale wood by lucy strange and the darkest part of the forest by holly black, i just instantly fell in love with them aaa also holy heck what do i have to do to get pre-release books you're living the dream
Beside the fact that your voice is really calming, your way of explaining genuily interests me in books which I wouldn't think of by myself. But after I saw you have read All The Bright Places - which I'm now reading for like... the thirth time since December - I trust your taste and you haven't failed me ^^ As a fellow writer and diehard reader I enjoy these video's very much, thanks! But oh man, I can't help myself from wondering during the whole video... which bracelet are you wearing? Is it from #cutcakenotwrists (same colour?) or ??? What does it say? :D
non-intelligent question ahead: would you mind telling me where your rad t-shirt is from?? also lovely video thank you for the cool recommendations as usual!
