HI! Please do a video on macro calculating when it comes to serving size. It may sound intuitive, but it took me a bit to understand this..... for example if the serving size is 3oz but I had 4.25, I need to divide 4.25/3=1.41 servings. It's important to note that the type of measurement needs to be the same for this to work...... grams, ounces, etc. I ate 12 grams and the serving size is 30= 0.4 serving. I say this because some apps are designed differently and don't allow for easy serving calculating/adjusting. This might be a helpful video for many! Thanks!
everything will always depend on how you respond - if your progress is getting hindered from it then id say hold back on them for awhile until you see greater progress. you could also do a controlled "refeed" where you give yourself an extra 500 calories instead of an entire cheat day/meal with thousands of calories. however, this is more beneficial deeper into the dieting phase after youve seen a lot of progress already/metabolism slowed down, I would refrain from them in the beginning as you are trying to get your body to respond to the deficit, but also make sure you are enjoying your diet enough so you dont necessarily need to "cheat" :)
@@CassDiGiovanni Thank You!! I have been in a deficit for 6 months but I have plateaued the last two months. I feel stuck because I cannot loose the weight in my torso. Weekly cheat meals also make me feel sick because I always overdo it even though my trainer tells me to not restrict them. I just feel stuck and don’t know where to go from here….any tips?
now all i have to do is learn about maintaining lol, starting over again, 😂 can you explain like how to maintain, i try to go back to intuative eating but then idk I just gain all the weight i lost last year 😭but im back on track now, im on my deficit again
Hi Cass! I’m always eating in a calorie deficit (maybe too much under eating tbh) and haven’t lost more than 10 lbs since May 2021. I’m trying to focus on more macros and making sure I’m eating protein, but I’m struggling. Any suggestions or guidance on that since the deficit is usually the biggest tip?
most likely what is happening is your body adapted to the calories you are eating (which is expected) so its possible the calories that were once a deficit for you are now maintenance calories - so would just have to adjust through caloric intake or increasing activity to create that deficit again - I offer coaching on this as well if you need more help 💞
Question what if you have a job that physically demanding? I’m a spin instructor and I have to teach a 45 minute class and yes I must be teaching the whole time lol. I’m trying to grow my glutes what would I have to do?
@@Jasmiinwilliams thats fine then! id just make sure you are eating at maintenance calories or slight surplus if you are really trying to grow your glutes, and focusing on progressive overload with weight training :)
