So I should track my food daily to see how my body responds in order to figure out my maintenance calories right? How do I figure this out if I am already going to the gym and doing cardio? Especially if Apple Watches and other devices are miss measuring my expenditure. I’m struggling to figure out how to incorporate the calories burned through exercise into my meal plan to create my deficit if I can’t use my Apple Watch to track what I’m burning.

With these numbers from your ex. 185g carbs 130g protein 60g fat Can I swamp my fat and carbs numbers and make it 60g carbs 130g protein 185g fat Because I prefer fats and they’re interchangeable??

On the hunger point, I don' t think she's really experienced fasting before. There is no hunger. I've been on 800 for 2 weeks now. The first few days, yeah. But then it just completely disappears. In fact I think I could eat nothing and still have zero hunger. Why? Because in the so called 'fat burning mode' your body doesn't prod you with hunger cues. It grabs all it needs by ripping out fat cells. I want to eat, and do, only to get some pleasure in my day, which helps with sustainability.

So ive been doing 1500 calories a day. Completely changed what im eating and exercising more for about 2 weeks and in the mirror i look fatter. Ive been having more protein and ive been eating healthier food options instead of fast food and hotcheetos but for some reason i look fatter. Should i just give up.

If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to see your meal plans. I had an accident 9 yrs. ago that damaged my lumbar and middle back. Gyms are out of the question. Short walks I do. I’ve lost weight in the past but just gained it back. I reside in Florida now for 5 yrs. via NY. Any advice would help. Thank you.

As long as you show up & try you are guaranteed results even if it takes along time..but the moment you quit you are guaranteed absolutely no results, how will you ever find out ? I guess you will never know hunh ?

This is so interesting. I guess I have an ectomorph body type because if I take time off I lose so much strength and power, but don't really gain weight. If I take time off, my endurance will wane, but comes back rather quickly. I'm a cyclist and runner who really needs to find the motivation to strength train, lol.

Its really nice you shared this story i stopped working out for 10 months cant even say i would be so happy when working out but then i stopped and fell into depression then i was obsessed with not eating and trying to workout it all failed im starting on january hopefully i feel better im much happier now i just hope everything works .

I can’t stand gyms… I never could… I just enjoy running and walking and I’ve decided I’m going to be okay with that. I’m going to start doing a few home work outs for strength but I won’t be forcing myself to have a gym membership.
