If you watched Episode 2 you probably got frustrated at how that ended. Here's how it went after that episode cuts out.
The purpose of these calls was to collate examples of me NOT being successful. I posted numerous successful calls, but it';s good to see that not all calls end in appointments. That also not necessarily bad either.
Prospecting is about finding the right people, not just a warm body to meet!

This is the only guy doing real sales calls live in the field. Give him his flowers and props. Every sales trainer should be doing this to show they're legit.

Best line so far! What if I tell you this is a sales call would you hang up?!!!! Genius!!! I tried today, out of 40 calls I managed to have about 36 conversations!!! Previously, I would of have had 20 conversations if lucky!

From what I have observed. Be engaging, find out what the customer likes, get them to fixate on the product with what they like, build the interest and pitch when the customer indicates they want the product, price is the last thing you mention. Every sales person has their process of getting through the stages but you have to build one which is genuine to you, no desparation, no attachment to outcome. Persistance with adaptability is the key. The customer has to get out of the product what they are expecting. If you can tailor it to what they like do it. If not find othet things they like and tailor it to that. There is no magic script just a processes and an active mind.

I would recall 1 of the decision makers with the extra info you have. This guy sounds like he's the #Sales Manager and could be just trying to keep his job.

I wanted to preface this with I love your work and know, you have forgotten more about sales than I will ever know and I look at you as someone all salespeople can & should learn from. My question is simple and not to troll: Looking back, do you think this was a good call? I know you extracted good information but, "across the pond", as you would say, we have a saying, don't pitch the bit*h or don't waste your time selling to anyone other than the decision maker/s. Keeping that in mind, please let me know your thoughts on the call. THIS IS FOR ME TO LEARN. thanks!!!!!

No. They hung up. This isn't complicated.

to be honest I'd send that email. You never know. I got few call backs after 1 year and eventually closed a sales

You mean occasionally you take an order from an inbound enquiry. Most people do.

@@benjamindennehy yeah, I mean if you already called them and spent time on the phone, it costs literally 2 more minutes to send them an email, even if you feel they won't buy anything right away. But it may come back to you after a while with something :) (Or, depending on the case, I'd put them in a email automation so they get a ping from time to time)
